SpikeFayeJettEdBebop 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 "I was listening on my way to work to the Bubba the Love Sponge Show here in Tampa when Hogan called in. I missed most of his call, but did get a few bits of information from it. Nash's haircut was in preparation for an acting part in the upcoming Punisher movie being filmed here in Tampa. His part will be as a wrestler (hey, he act's like a wrestler on Raw, so he should do well in the part.) Hogan also mentioned that he and Bubba the Love Sponge will also have cameo appearances in the movie. Also mentioned was that Scott Hall has gotten a large payday from the a breach of contract settlement with Time Warner. Booker T's name was also mentioned in that he also received a big payday from Time Warner also, possibly from the racial prejudice lawsuit. In Hogan's words: Booker may be injured now, but with the money he got he won't ever have to work another day in his life." Pro Wrestling Scoops.com First of all, great for Booker T. Good for him. Its really awesome considering that IF h can't wrestle anymore, he atleast has enough to support himself and his family for the rest of his life. Scott Hall???BLAH...who cares, he'll just go buy some booze and crack.....Now onto the other part. One movie I was really looking foward to :"The Punisher" am I going to see it anymore???Probably not.....HOGAN AND NASH???????!?!?!?!?!?!WHY???????????????Oh yeah, and Bubba The Love Spunge will be in it too, I dont know him and I dont listen to the radio show, but I was really looking foward to that movie....not so much anymore, I doubt I will be able to see NASH and HOGAN in a movie........together.....that is good. So the movie will just end of being SHIT. I seriously hope this is a false rumour and Nash is in some other movie...........Nash and Hogan just ruineda movie I was RELLY looing foward to......Man, who in the hell is doing casting for this shitty trainwreck???And who in the hell wanted Hogan and Nash???? Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Can we not Assassinate The Stan Lee Comic further? what they saw how Macho Man got so much exposure in Spider man so they think Every Marvel Comic character should have a Wrestling background?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Why the hate for Scott Hall? He's gotten his life back together and is pretty much a single parent now. He deserves the money. Book too. Are you sure Hogan & Bubba(they're good friends) weren't just joking around about being in the movie? Nash playing a wrestler? Wow that's a bigger acting stretch than I expected him to take. haVoc 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 I'm sorry, but I don't believe a damn thing Hogan ever says. He can tell me the sky is blue and I still have to go out side and check for myself because the bastard either lies or stretches the truth.
humongous2002 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Can we not Assassinate The Stan Lee Comic further? what they saw how Macho Man got so much exposure in Spider man so they think Every Marvel Comic character should have a Wrestling background? In the 1st appearance of Spiderman, way back in the early 1960's ,he started as a wrestler instead of a superhero. But in the Punisher, i've never seen him deal with a wrestler, i might've be wrong. Ripper 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Being on the road as a wrestler REALLY does add to the drinking and drugs. He obviously still has custody of his child despite having eyes from ever aspect of the law on him so he might have sobered up.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Scott Hall has a disease, yet all of the smarky 18 year old suburbanites have the ballsack to criticise the guy. C'mon, don't act ingorant, he's still a human being.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Maybe it's something in the water in Florida, but I've listened seven times now to Bubba and I still can't stand him. He's obnoxious. Props to those who listen to him and keep my ears Bubba-free. You go, Book And for a guy that hasn't stiffed anybody to retirement, hasn't told fans that they don't matter, has kids to take care of, isn't sleeping with a boss' daughter, and was the only guy in the nWold who tried to NOT stink up the ring, you guys sure give Scott Hall a hard time. Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 I wonder if Hardwork Bobby Walker or Teddy Long got paid also? Strangely, I only remember Bobby Walker and Sonny Onoo being part of the lawsuit filed against Turner. There was one other individual I'm blanking on, but it sure WASN'T Booker T. haVoc 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Scott Hall???BLAH...who cares, he'll just go buy some booze and crack..... I'd spend my money on booze and crack before I paid to see Hogan and Nash in a film!
dubq 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Nash and Hogan just ruineda movie I was RELLY looing foward to......Man, who in the hell is doing casting for this shitty trainwreck???And who in the hell wanted Hogan and Nash?? Yeah, because I'm so sure a cameo by Nash, Hogan & Bubba is going to ruin the movie. Cuz, you know, that cameo by Macho Man in the Spider-Man movie had it doing HORRIBLE at the box office. Jesus, stop being a moron..
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 With a possible career ending injury, Booker getting a fat check from WCW is a definetly a great thing. Considering that Stevie Ray was, at one point, making $700,000 a year in WCW, I assume Booker T also had a deal like that. So with this check added to it, if Booker's injury is career ending, don't expect him to be hanging around as a manager for Goldust or some shit to make money. Shanghai Kid 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Another example of a moron taking smark stuff too far. So because you don't like Nash, and he has a cameo, your not going to see a movie that YOU were actually looking forward too? What the f***....
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2003 At least something good comes out of something bad for Booker T. Great to hear.
Guest Jesse Report post Posted August 22, 2003 It'll take a lot more than cameos by Nash and Hogan to make this flick anywhere near as bad as the first Punisher movie. If you were interested in the movie before this, give it a chance.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 I certainly hope that Booker doesn;t have to worry about working anymore to support his family with this settlement. Didn;t Stevie Ray retire because of his back?
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Ah...Ill still see the movie, but I don't think Nash will just be in a cameo, I have a feeling(OPkay, I think I read somewhere) that he has a semi-major role.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted August 22, 2003 As a side note, how fucked up must Scott Hall's ex-wife be if he got custody of his kids while heavily into illegal substances? He was even in rehab and such.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted August 23, 2003 Why the hate for Scott Hall? He's gotten his life back together Somehow, I've heard that sentence six or seven times before. Scott Hall has a disease Scott Hall has an addiction. As a side note, how fucked up must Scott Hall's ex-wife be if he got custody of his kids while heavily into illegal substances? He was even in rehab and such. Wasn't signing with the WWF what helped him get the kids? A steady six figure job.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted August 23, 2003 Addition is a disease AngleSault. Addictions lead to disease (Cancer being one of the biggest) I don't believe something that can conceivably be stopped through willpower and support is a disease. And I REFUSE to listen to a "Sex addict" say he has a disease.

You make it seem like it's so easy to just stop drinking and doing drugs.....you are ADDICTED to it.....MEaning you can't go without it in your mind and even your body........Once you're addicted to something like that it becomes a disease And since you wanna say that you refuse to believe that anyone that can be stopped with willpower and support is a disease then let me ask you this.....Are you saying that if someone gets cancer and has the will and determination to beat it and survive, that they never had a DISEASE? Think about it
haVoc 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2003 Scott Hall has a disease And it's no one's fault but his... he ruined his own life, therefore we make fun of him for being a waste. How is he a waste? Because he made mistakes in the past? From what I've read, he saved alot of his money over the years so he's well off. He's cleaned himself up and he's sitting at home raising his two kids. Doesn't sound like a waste. Sounds like he's being a real man and taking care of himself and his kids.
