Papacita Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Loading is fine for me. Only problem I'm having is that it seems kinda hard hiring staff, wrestlers and what not. But then again, the fact that I'm using that Ravex update may have something to do with it. I like it overall.
Tawren Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I have a rather new computer (late 2003), 300 Ram, 2.4 GHz, can play NHL 2004 with about 50 other programs running, and it is taking about 20 minutes to load one page on a TEXT BASED SIM. It takes about 50 minutes to book a battle royal. I'm encountering RunTime errors all over the place. TEW sucks.

I only have 128 MB of RAM and I've had no problems with loading times. It's never been longer than a minute. I think I'm gonna love it after the RaveX updates come out.
Garth Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I really like the game only thing that i can't figure out is after i've run one show on the next one it will only let me use the wrestlers i didn't use on the first one and that makes for booking a show nigh on impossible as i usually have like 4 or 5 people left to work with.

Hawaii was left out because it wouldn't be feesable to run a fed from there. You'd literially have to pay travel and room to get someone to go there. The same for Alaska. Even I'm disappointed with this game (I just downloaded the Demo). It isn't really that good. It's a step up from EWR, but there isn't much there that hits me as "take my $50 for a good game". There is not a lot of angles and many angles only work one way instead of both, the matches don't flow right, you can't do sports-entertainment thanks to the lack of angles. Also I wasn't impressed with a lot of stuff that should've been in the game (like quick roster), the fact that some gimmicks aren't really true to their form, and that. And frankly, one day to test out this demo? Please. That's an insult. 3 days at least should've been given, since about all you can do is try the game for four minutes. Amazingly I've checked the TEW boards and there are a shit load of bugs. Thankfully, I only ran into the sponsor one.

Like they did with EWR.

I'm not so much disappointed, as to say that it probably should've taken till the end of this year to be released. Like it should've been. I think with everyone getting on Adam's case, I think he decided he could get it done asap.
