How many speeding tickets have you all gotten? Were they bullshit or were you just being careless (like moi)? And what is with all these frickin questions!? Guest stardust Report post Posted September 13, 2003 I've been given two warnings (one for speeding, one for supposedly rolling through a stop sign--I still contend I came to a full stop, dammit), both by the same cop (who also happened to be kinda cute). Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 One, when I was 19, for going 71 in a 45-mph zone. I know for a fact I wasn't going that fast, but I got PBJ in court. Since then, I've been pulled over twice (once for 63 in a 50, the other for 61 in a 50) and gotten warnings both times, since I have a clean driving record. It was at night and I didn't see him until it was too late to slow down. I knew I was fucked before he even started following me. That ticket cost me $135 too. Moral of the story? The cops were, admittedly trying to bust me and my group I hung with so they took every chance they could to "checkstop" us. got one speeding ticket.
