King Kamala Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 I'd have to say mine is Suburban Commando, I got it in a bin of DVDs marked $8.88 last year at Wal-Mart. I couldn't deny a great deal for a hillariously bad Hogan movie. Hell the DVD even has a special feature, a really messed up trivia game that has nothing to do with the movie. Another cheesy DVD I got is the 1986 obscure "cult classic" Trick or Treat. The movie has modern pictures of Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons on the cover, despite the movie being almost twenty years old and Ozzy only making a really small cameo and Gene only being in like 5 minutes of it. The movie stars Marc Price of Family Ties nonfame as a kid that's becoming possessed by his favorite rock star who happens to be dead. The movie is great if you're a fan of cheesy 80's hair metal but if you're not it's just a really silly B horror movie.

King Kamala Posted September 13, 2003 Author Report Posted September 13, 2003 Bloodsport 4 that was the cheapest DVD I ever saw at FYE, you could get it for the alarmingly low price of $2.88. I'm not shitting you at all. I didn't buy it but maybe I should have $2.88 for a DVD is a crotch grabingly good deal.

I'm not shitting you at all. I didn't buy it but maybe I should have $2.88 for a DVD is a crotch grabingly good deal. I watched about 10 minutes of it, and shut it off. It was just...odd. It jumped from one thing to the next. The only remotely intersting thing about it (other than being a mindless karate flick, which I adore) is that it had Derek McGrath (Dr. Jeffkote from My Secret Identity) as a villanous warden. That was word what I paid for it ($6 brand new). If you wanna talk video collections, the best deal I ever got for cheesy movies was a Billy Blank two pack, with Showdown (where he's the cop turned kung fu janitor that helps out a new kid, Karate Kid style) and King of The Kickboxers. Bought it at Strawberrie's of all places for $1.99.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 My girlfriend has National Lampoon's Last Resort. Yup. That movie rules....or it really sucks, I haven't decided yet.

Bruiser Chong Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 Batman: The Movie Rocky and Bullwinkle: The Complete First Season Saved By the Bell: Seasons 1 and 2 Now mind you, R&B is often very intelligent (in that it educates the viewer subtly), but there's a barrage of bad puns and the like that make the humor very much an acquired taste. Same goes for SBTB, 'cept that doesn't educate you about anything other than that hack writers and B-Level actors can land work on a higher level.
