Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Let's hope JR wakes up or else we'll be stuck with Coach on Raw. Hey, anyone else wonder if they're going to gear Coach up for a full-time wrestler? He looks like he's been working out lately.
NYU 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 They're not even excited right now. God damn, we need Coach and Snow to commentate. At least they're not like this fucking announce team. Worst announcing job I've ever heard in my life during that Triple Threat match.

Repo Man jr 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 ugh. that match was not that good. So HBK vs. HBK w/ Orton is MOTN right now? I liked the HBK Orton and Kane Shane Matches a better than the 3 way.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 The crowd popped for spots in the three way match at least. Sure, in the beginning, there was absolutely no heat, but near the end, there was a decent amount of heat.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Your statement really pisses me off, because it's completely without merit. Take away the pathetic crowd, and the match wasn't that bad at all. Seemingly since I didn't make that foolish statement, I am claiming innocence. No announcers for this match?

1234-5678 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Lawler and JR get seperate entrances, but Al's gotta come out to Coach's music? Big fuckin lack of respect there.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 The crowd was dead for Coach and Snow, but they seem to love J.R. and King. Like I said earlier, this is a mark's wet dream.

Guest neodragonsan Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Worst Non-Gimmick match ever? Giant Gonzalez vs. The Undertaker...
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Okay, whatever the MOTN is, we're debating whether it's Christian/RVD/Jericho or an Orton/HBK match, neither of which were actually "good." Gotcha. HERE COMES THE, er, MORE PAIN!
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 The crowd popped more for JR's entrance than for the whole of the 3-way...
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 That takes the title as worst WWE non-gimmick match I've seen in my life, beating Nathan Jones' one debut match and Benoit vs Rhyno 1. Maybe, if: You exclude matches with women's wrestlers. You exclude matches where managers, announcers and any non-wrestlers worked. You exclude matches used exclusively for jobber squashes. HHH/Steiner I. HHH/Steiner II. Big Show/Undertaker (No Way Out?) Kane/Test(No Mercy 2001) 4 matches right there. I could research into the night if I wanted to, for horrifically awful matches. Your statement really pisses me off, because it's completely without merit. Take away the pathetic crowd, and the match wasn't that bad at all. And that's not even going back to such crap as Diesel/Sid, Diesel/Mabel, and Undertaker/Underfaker.

Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 but Al's gotta come out to Coach's music? Big fuckin lack of respect there. His entrance music would've gotten a face reaction...unless he was using his heel theme from late 1999.

SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Hey, the absence of all commentary is a step up! It's already made a postive impact on this match.
Repo Man jr 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 I just noticed, no commentary. Doesn't really make much difference
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 Wow, EWR is right. Crowd response does affect match quality... See? You CAN book wrestling companies by EWR! ... Really, I could just see "smarky" HHH actually doing that. "HHH is at 1% Physical Condition After Wrestling Every Match" HHH: What do I do-uh?

Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted September 22, 2003 I just noticed, no commentary. Doesn't really make much difference Austin and Bischoff would make great commentators. But then we would miss JR using every cliche he has and King demeaning the women's division.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 It's wierd, the crowd are as dead for this as for the 3-way, but where they've turned them up in the mix it seems a lot better.
