MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 12, 2003 Author Report Posted October 12, 2003 We'll end up waiting on Alfdogg again..
Lightning Flik Posted October 12, 2003 Report Posted October 12, 2003 think positive Yup. Considering we are almost finished all this really soon, just keep a good look out on it. Besides, we can thank alfdogg for dragging this out. I mean, at least we don't have a month to think about whom we choose and all that crap.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 12, 2003 Report Posted October 12, 2003 Looks like we can begin to thank DA too
Lightning Flik Posted October 12, 2003 Report Posted October 12, 2003 Looks like we can begin to thank DA too Yah, he deserves credit too.
Dangerous A Posted October 12, 2003 Report Posted October 12, 2003 With the final pick in the 5th round, Team 2004 selects F Richard Jefferson With the first pick in the 6th round, Team 2004 selects F Keith Van Horn Alfdogg, you're up
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 12, 2003 Author Report Posted October 12, 2003 Now we're officially waiting on Alfdogg.
Cuban Linx Posted October 12, 2003 Report Posted October 12, 2003 * prays the guy he wants survives the next 12 picks *
razazteca Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Maybe DA is looking for some Puro tapes or watching Pinoy Boy matches? You know the Philippines has a basketball league maybe he is looking for talent there.........damn I need a case of San Miguel to forget about this. At least we know business will pick up when RAW IS CRAP comes on. Falcons vs Rams will suck so bring on the 3.5 rating baby!
Guest Just J Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 I have had dentist's visits that were less painful then this draft.
Lightning Flik Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 I have had dentist's visits that were less painful then this draft. Oh it's not THAT bad.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Picking Kobe and LeBron will do that to you.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 This is *almost* as painful as Root Canal...well at least the waiting is. *whacks Lightning Flak with the wooden mallet to relieve boredom. Continues bashing away until Alfdogg makes his pick*
Cartman Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 I don't care when this guy makes his pick... ...I just don;t want him, or anyone else to take my next pick from me...
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 We should have a 10th round, to draft some off the wall picks just for fun. Manute Bol, for example.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Silly Al...that's what the 9th round is for Honestly...I'll have my positions set with this pick(Two Forwards, Two Centers, Two Guards) so the 7th and maybe 8th will be bench spots and the 9th will be a rookie in my case...or a completely obscure no namer who'll contribute nothing to my team except a funny name to read
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 I actually think this has been the easiest fantasy draft I've been involved with. Believe me, it's a bitch getting 16 people together to do the draft all at once, this has been fairly layed back. As far as people who will not contribute but have funny names, I'm probably gonna go with Jake Tsakilidas. Just so I can scream "Big Jake! Get in the game!" Although I guess I really won't get too, seeing as how it's a fantasy league and all but still...I have no point.
Sandman9000 Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 I swear, Alfdogg is drafting Vin Baker.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 that reminds me, why the hell does Cartman have a picture of Baker in his sig?
razazteca Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Its a group of players affected by the CURSE~
the pinjockey Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Is the CURSE~ a new drink by Bacardi or something? Otherwise it ain't affecting Vin.
razazteca Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 What was his stats before moving to Boston?
the pinjockey Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 His numbers were down last year, but he was only playing about half the minutes he was in Seattle. The few previous years, he was about a 14-6 guy, but he only played in more than 55 games two of the previous 4 years.
razazteca Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Vin Baker became the next Grant Hill the second he joined the Celtics.
MrRant Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 His numbers were down last year, but he was only playing about half the minutes he was in Seattle. The few previous years, he was about a 14-6 guy, but he only played in more than 55 games two of the previous 4 years. He was pretty poor after the first year in Seattle. Down 2nd year... 3rd was decent and then more crap.
alfdogg Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 The Alfdogg Asylum selects F Zach Randolph with the 2nd pick of the 6th round. I sent a PM to Marvin with my pick before I went to bed, but he must not have seen it.
