Slickster Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Did they reveal it on SD! ? I missed most of the show so Iwas just wondering.
Styles Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 I think it was big show's diareah sounds...
Guest Choken One Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Sounds Like In House right now...dont worry some Nu Metal crap will fill that space up soon enough

Styles Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Yup, WWE loves to grab up the new pop rock bands with like one breakout hit. It will probably be something like "Break me"- by Untrusted or something equally generic with rapping in front of tuned down power chords.
Slickster Posted October 5, 2003 Author Report Posted October 5, 2003 Did they reveal it on Velocity?
SamoaRowe Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Most of the PPV themes haven't been too bad this year. "Enemy" was decent and "Price to Play" was generic, but fitting. Everyone is right about how generic nu-metal has become. It's painful to listen to the new stuff coming out. WWE should just use Cold songs for everything.
King Cucaracha Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 I wouldn't be surprised if they used one off Limp Bizkit's new album...if not this month, then soon.
SamoaRowe Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 I wouldn't be surprised if they used one off Limp Bizkit's new album...if not this month, then soon. Nah, they're probably saving that for Wrestlemania....
The Czech Republic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Wrestlemania XX's theme better be the classic Wrestlemania Hymn or the later WM theme that Linda used.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 I guess they're missing out on a theme for this year. Unless they announced it and I missed it, I guess No Mercy once again will have a WWE produced song, I think without lyrics.
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 What's the fascination w/ the PPV theme songs? Every month there's a thread in here asking what the latest PPV's theme song is.
Guest JRE Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 Isn't there a No Mercy theme song...that goes: "I'll have no mercy...I'll have no mercy on your sole"
Slickster Posted October 10, 2003 Author Report Posted October 10, 2003 Isn't there a No Mercy theme song...that goes: "I'll have no mercy...I'll have no mercy on your sole" Yes, that was last year's (it's SOUL, btw). We like seeing what the theme is because it adds to the PPV graphics and whatnot and it helps us form an impression about the PPV. For instance, when I think of Bad Blood, I think of Trapt's 'Headstrong playing over the animated blood drop from the PPV intro.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 Yeah, the licensed themes give more meaning to the PPV itself. I think of "Price To Play" everytime I think about Vengeance. Good song for a good PPV.
Guest JRE Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 (it's SOUL, btw). Oh...geez. I knew that. Clumsy me. Big Show's sandals did get pretty wasted tonight though.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 No Mercy Theme Song - "Today is the Day" by Dope Im not kidding
justsoyouknow Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 I'd mark out if they used Bob Dylan for just ONE PPV. Just one. That's all I ask. Or if Stephanie came out to "You're a Big Girl Now". That would be equally awesome.
2GOLD Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 Maybe it should be Kevin Nash singing "The wheels on the bus". Or Macho Man's hit single "Be a man" That would be fitting promotion for this PPV.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 How about some crappy song by some band that sounds like 465,987 other bands.......good enough?
Slickster Posted October 16, 2003 Author Report Posted October 16, 2003 No Mercy Theme Song - "Today is the Day" by Dope Im not kidding Fair enough. How'd you find this out?
Guest Frank The Tank Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 No Mercy Theme Song - "Today is the Day" by Dope Im not kidding I'm shocked they didn't pick anything from Adema, who has a new cd either out, or coming out. But that's alright Dope is slightly better than Adema even though they both suck anyways.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 I'm surprised they didn't annnounce it though yet.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 Its announced on tonights smackdown.
Steviekick Posted October 17, 2003 Report Posted October 17, 2003 Dope's greatest contribution to wrestling was in ECW when Rhyno had their song "Debonaire" as his entrance theme.
