Rob E Dangerously Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 What I heard was Randy Cross putting over the Vikings so hard that they should have been up 100-0 at that point. At one point, Randy Moss made a pretty decent catch...nothing spectacular by any stretch...and Cross called it thusly: "NO MAN WITH TWO HANDS SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE THAT CATCH!!!" Vikings lost in OT. I'm not sure why Cross has a job or anything. I like the Chiefs chances from now to their bye week @ Green Bay [Are they good this week, or bad? losing to Arizona, beating Seattle] @ Oakland [The Raiders are dead, they'll get a Monday-night funeral] Buffalo (at home) [Chiefs won't lose at home this year, especially not against Buffalo, who took Cincy into overtime]
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 The other group isn't much better. They were acting like Kordell Stewart was having a great game when he only had 4 completions and 2 INTs early in the 3rd.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Kansas City just beat the only team that I thought had a shot at beating them at home.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 The first team to stop Dante Hall from getting to the end zone is the first team to beat KC. Last week and this week, they only won because of him. Some team will rationalize that not kicking the ball to him is better than giving up an important td, especially late in the game.
The Czech Republic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 They were acting like Kordell Stewart was having a great game when he only had 4 completions and 2 INTs early in the 3rd. Well at his standard, that IS a great game. And I LIKE the Bears.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Did Dan Snyder secretly trade for the Houston Texans offensive line's ability to protect the QB?
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 The first team to stop Dante Hall from getting to the end zone is the first team to beat KC. The Chargers stopped Dante in game 1 of the year. So, I don't think that will work. I hope the Chargers don't beat KC

Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 I hate whistling plays dead. That's BS that the Redskins can't challenge the run by McNabb.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Eagles just won the game! TD Westbrook
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 That's BS that the Redskins can't challenge the run by McNabb. "It's because the referees want a black QB to succeed" - Rush
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 holy crap! David Boston 14 catches 181 yards 2 TDs. Im glad I started him in my other league..I was thinking of dropping him.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Rename the Redskins the Washington False Starters
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Let's see how I'm doing: Minnesota Vikings (Yes) Buffalo Bills (Yes) Carolina Panthers (Yes) Oakland Raiders (No) Dallas Cowboys (Yes) Seattle Seahawks (No) Kansas City Chiefs (Yes) Tennessee Titans (No) New York Giants (No) San Diego Chargers (No) These guys really suck Philadelphia Eagles (Yes) San Francisco 49ers (Yes) Pittsburgh Steelers Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-5 so far. My worst week ever already.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 ... Did the Eagles realize they were supposed to get that ball?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 So..the Redskins recover.. All they need now is the TD and 2 pt conversion with 1:14 left.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 no idea what happened there. Redskins need another onside kick recover.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 These Redskins seem to show me more reason to think they are good in losses than they do in wins.
Shanghai Kid Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Well, whether they win or lose, the Skins don't quit, all their games have been 2-3 points apart. If Ramsey hadn't overthrown Coles, who knew what would of happened...just part of his growing pains I guess.
the pinjockey Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 I would like to thank Derrick Dockery for that win. And if Brian Westbook doesn't start getting 20 carries a game something is wrong in the world.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Well McNabb continues to struggle. Guess even Rush couldn't light a fire to get him going.
Dangerous A Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 I just left the sports bar with huge heartbreak. At least we are putting up a fight in our losses. I just wish we could have a decisive win for once. The snap count/false start problem needs to be corrected RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!!! I don't give us much of a chance against the Bucs next week. Add to that Dallas is a different team and how we still get to look forward to playing them twice, along with games against the Dolphins, Bills, Carolina, Giants, and Eagles again and I think 9-7 would be a gift from above. I am a Redskin fan and I will admit we aren't as good as 3-2 says we are.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 (edited) Goddamn Browns!!! EDIT --- Touchdown Browns!!! God bless them! EDIT2 --- XP blocked . . . Goddammit! Edited October 6, 2003 by MillenniumMan831
razazteca Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 DAMN DAMN DAMN the Steelers had a punt return for a TD bu Randle El but they screw it up by getting it called back due to penality! BOOOOOOOOO
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Maddox throws a pick, has it returned for a TD, and now the Pittsburgh fans are pissed.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Knowing the Browns, they'll probably blow it and it'll come down to the final 1:00 like every other Brown game in the past 2 years.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Uh oh, pick by the Steelers, Dammit! I hate being right.
