Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Report post Posted October 6, 2003 So my friends and I are thinking of starting a band which will probably be some sort of 70's-80's punk/new wave sounding thing (I'm thinking along the lines of The Stooges, but a bit more melodic). Anyways, we've had many, many ideas for band names, and have never really settled on any one. I thought perhaps I'd start a thread for good band names that have never been used, and here it is. This will either go down in flames or be lifted to the heavens, I suppose, but nevertheless, here are a few we've pondered in the past... The Pubic Hares Red Light Go Mosquito #12 The F-Bombs Cupid Stunts Kangaroo Henchmen Adjective Noun Anyways...anyone else have any good ideas, questions, or comments? Add names as you please, for they will all be considered.

Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Report post Posted October 6, 2003 Oh, yes, a few I had forgotten... Joe Cancer & The Free Radicals Spazmatic The Polite Thieves (I attended an Eels concert whereupon the ending came to the THIRD encore...I took a water bottle that E, the lead singer, had beside his piano, as I was very thirsty...when the Eels came back out 15 minutes later to play for the quarter of the audience that was left, I put the half gone bottle of water back beside his piano...I told E this after the show, and he called us "Polite Thieves," hence the name)

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2003 (edited) The F-Bombs It's more or less taken--a band around here is called "F-Bomb." Sound Like The Hu-Man (my friend's grind/funk/metal band...Agent, you might like them, they're decent enough, but the vocals suck; and the name is a quote from the classic b-movie Robot Monster) I could think of a bunch of band names just using that as a basis. Similarly, Live/Die Like the Human. Other MST3k/b-movie inspired ones. Just making them up if ya think they suck. TOR-CHA! The Master Wouldn't Approve The Amazing Colossal ____ (pretty much anything). The One(s) with the Gun(s) We'll Kill You With a Forklift Time for Go to Dead Watch Out for Snakes I think there's already a band called Soylent Green. Random ones: Weasels Ripped My Flesh Brick Slaughterhouse Shitstompers Ball-Lakers Edited October 6, 2003 by AndrewTS
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 6, 2003 You could use Soylent with some other colour. Soylent Orange...Soylent Magenta Satan's Satans Suicidal Tenderloin More mst3k inspired... Sleeeeep!
