edotherocket Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I haven't seen a thread about this so I'm assuming someone's already reported who this will be or no one really cares. Who do you think will be the new GM? And what happens to them when Steph gets back in 6 weeks or so? It's going to be Sable isn't it? Mebbe Austin as a long shot.
Use Your Illusion Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Austin violated his contract on RAW, therefore he'll probably be fired and taken to SD! by Linda. Someone intelligent made that asumption, so whoever it was, take credit. Oh right, that was EVERYONE UYI
edotherocket Posted October 20, 2003 Author Report Posted October 20, 2003 But then what does Steph do when she comes back? Just become a full time main eventer and drop the GM role?
Guest Choken One Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Since she didn't really QUIT...her job is of course still hers legally...I'm sure she'll be away for a while anyways...
BoboBrazil Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Raw will need a new GM and Steph fits the bill...plus she can spend more time with her new husband.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Does it really make sense to fire someone and give them the same job somewhere else in the same "Company"? Of course it is the WWE..but I do think they would be wise to leave out the Austin gets fired and rehired part and just move him to Smackdown due to talent concerns/complaints. And RAW won't really need a new GM..theres still Eric Bischoff..
AndrewTS Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 But then what does Steph do when she comes back? Just become a full time main eventer and drop the GM role? Join her hubby on Raw. Austin violated his contract on RAW, therefore he'll probably be fired and taken to SD! by Linda. I wish I had a job where you can fuck up your job constantly, and the worst that can happen is that you just have to work somewhere else but get more status and power. Does it really make sense to fire someone and give them the same job somewhere else in the same "Company"? Actually, it's practically a promotion since Austin goes from being co-GM to full-blown GM.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 It would hurt RAW more if Austin was gone so I'd rather have Eric get moved over to SD instead so they can quit with the Co-GM bullshit. I'll take Eric over Stephanie any day.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Sable. That's what they have been saying for the past 4 months.
Guest Choken One Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Eric/Angle promos/skits would just be the shit...
Cuban Linx Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Vince has a brother doesn't he? Maybe he'll finally come in as the new GM, you can never have too many McMahons around.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 How about Vince's twin brother... VANCE McMahon~! *Flips Collar Up, takes toothpick out of mouth, slicks back hair, smiles*
Guest Ray Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 How about........ NO GM'S AND MORE WRESTLING?
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 CRAZY TALK! *calls Titan Towers* Yep, Mmm hmm, that's what he said.. NO general managers... no commissioners either... no presidents... and no liasons or chiefs... not even a board of directors... he doesn't want any authority figures, just wrestling... I know, he's crazy, what did I tell you? Ok.. Ok... the people in the white van with butterfly nets will be showing up soon.. excellent.
AndrewTS Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 The dead man will return to be GM. No, not Taker, Al Wilson! Yep, Mmm hmm, that's what he said.. NO general managers... no commissioners either... no presidents... and no liasons or chiefs... not even a board of directors... he doesn't want any authority figures, just wrestling... I know, he's crazy, what did I tell you? Ok.. Ok... the people in the white van with butterfly nets will be showing up soon.. excellent I'd settle with about the same level of wrestling, but for the angles to involve wrestlers.
Guest Choken One Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 We could bring back Jack Tunney and have sporadic apperences... Only Bud Selig interferes in his sport as much as the WWE Board of president General Commisioner of creative control do.
Guest hhheld_down Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 How about........ NO GM'S AND MORE WRESTLING? meh.. who wants that? who watches for the wrestling anymore anyway?
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Plus, how will the matches be set up?
Use Your Illusion Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 We could bring back Jack Tunney and have sporadic apperences... I second this notion WMXX: Eric Bischoff vs. Jack Tunney
Downhome Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I predicted that Austin would become the GM of Smackdown the very MOMENT that I first heard any talk of Vince trying to make Steph quit. It's quite obvious to me that Austin will be shipped to SD by Linda, in order for her to get payback on Vince for what he did to their "little girl".
Dangerous A Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 How about........ NO GM'S AND MORE WRESTLING? You should be given a prize. We don't need GM's/Vice President/Co Owner/authority figure roles anymore. Why do we need them to push the action? Why not just schedule matches and let the wrestlers and the matches do the action pushing? This retarded template of using an authority figure to make things spin in wrestling is a relic from Russocity. It's dated and needs to be eliminated from the shows in place of something new and fresh. GM's are stale and no longer entertaining. They don't draw ratings or money or buyrates. Fuck Austin, Bischoff, Steph, Vince, and any other stupid ass goddamn role that is like a GM!
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 In a perfect world it would be JJ Dillon...always liked him as WCW's Commish. He never tried to steal anybody's heat. Of course this world isn't perfect and it'll either be Sable, a McMahon, or Albert just to piss us all off
edotherocket Posted October 20, 2003 Author Report Posted October 20, 2003 Whatever happened to Jack Tunney anyways? Probably wrestling in the indy circuit...
Guest StevieNightHeat Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 the new Smackdown GM should be Paul Heyman.
JN News Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 If you ask me, I think the new Smackdown GM will be PAUL HEYMAN! Just think, we haven't seen Heyman in a while. Maybe they're grooming him up for his return.
Ultra Violence Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 *starts heyman chant* *realises it will be Austin *
