Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Brand suffered hair line fracture on his right foot and is out for 4-6 weeks. Sucks to be Miami Brand plays for the Clippers
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Brand is still on the Clippers. Odom is the guy in Miami.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Come to think of it, he's injured too.
razazteca Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Clippers can't have a season without a "star" getting injuried you know.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Come to think of it, he's injured too. Clippers, former Clippers...its all the same heh This Denver/Houston game sucks
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 I think that Lebron James looks better prepared to play in the NBA than Carmelo Anthony. Nothing about Carmelo Anthony looks like he is going to have an impact on this game.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 I agree. Carmello is just throwing'em up, rather than making good shot selection. Carmello should be driving it to the basket and drawing more fouls since his touch isn't there. Another reason why Lebron is most likely better prepared is because Paul Silas is a (much) better coach than the random Denver bum.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Carmelo Anthony looks too fragile to take it inside multiple times a night during an 82 game season.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Fragile or not that's going to be Carmello's game and he needs to develop it. Its not like Denver is going anywhere so Carmello needs to step back and realise this is a developemental period where he is free to do that and can then sit a night if need be
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Why the hell do they have Earl Boynkins guarding Yao in transition? LOL
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Yao didn't have the ball, if he wanted to though he could have stepped over Boynkins, taken a pass and just laid it up
The Czech Republic Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Brand suffered hair line fracture on his right foot and is out for 4-6 weeks. This sure is the Clippers' year!
razazteca Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 So how bad will the Cavs lose this game?
Shanghai Kid Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Finally, that Denver game was EXCRUCIATING. Seriously, I could and hope I can go the rest of the year without seeing Denver play. Bring on Lebron!!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Phoenix has some horrible jerseys too. Orange and the PHX on the front. Ugh.
razazteca Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Bring back the Kevin Johnson era jerseys please.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 if Iglauskis(or however you spell it) can actually make some baskets instead of just wasting space and fumbling easy boards over to a member of the Suns then the Cavs have a good shot at winning. Ricky Davis also has to stop taking stupid shots when he's being double teamed.
Guest Just J Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Phoenix has some horrible jerseys too. Orange and the PHX on the front. Ugh. Pheonix actually has the second worst, Golden State's uniforms look like a baby shit on them. But yeah that orange is horrible. Oh and Lebron will be ROTY, like I said a month ago. (Not directed at Marvin, by the way.)
Guest Just J Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Dewanye Wade for ROTY. Would you like to wager on that?
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 The Cavs really outta look at trading Ricky Davis. I didn't watch any Cavs games last year so these first 2 games are all I've seen of him but from what I've gathered he's a punk. He makes bad shots, doesn't look for open teamates, and also showboats quite a bit. He also has no hustle which was shown when he gave it up and then got dunked over

Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Cavs will lose but besides the Turnovers Lebron is helping out my Fantasy team nicely
alfdogg Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 The Wizards looked pretty good against the Bulls last night, winning 99-74 at the United Center. How ya like them apples Ripper? The ultimate Wizards hater that is. Not only that, but the Nuggets beat the Spurs Wednesday! OMFG NUGGETS ALL T3H WAY LOL~ In other words: It's one game. There are still 81 to go.
Spicy McHaggis Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Lebron will get ROTY b/c the NBA needs to oil the hype machine, not b/c he's the best.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Lebron will get ROTY b/c the NBA needs to oil the hype machine, not b/c he's the best. I don't agree, as they could have done the same thing with Yao last year. If LeBron gets ROTY its because he'll have earned it...and thus far he's earning it(even if it is only 2 games) Playing in a weak East will also help him get it over Mello I thought LeBron would be fairly good because its basically him, and Ricky Davis as the scorers(with Carlos Boozer in the low post) but I didn't forsee him being this good...I'm glad I grabbed him in the 4th round of the Fantasy Draft. As far as I see it with LeBron its no longer hype as he played two very good teams and had two very good games
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Glenn Robinson still serving his suspension, Iverson out with injury, and we're playing the Kings. We're fucked.
