Guest Polish_Rifle Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Looks like Kobe's a rapist AND a traveller. Tell me about it! That rapist took so many steps, he was practically in the locker room when he finally took that shot. Typical Lakers/referee bullshit! And wtf was Pop thinking putting Willis in there with a 3 point deficit? Where's Hedo or Mercer?
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Is it just me or does Richard Jefferson look like one of those Dinosaurs that had the giant Skull which it bashed its enemies with?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Baron Davis (yay for my Fantasy team) took Kobe to school and the Hornets beat the Lakers. More impressive is the Wizards beating the Raptors 86-60. With the win the Wizards are in FIRST PLACE in the Atlantic Division...
Shanghai Kid Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 You see Ripper, this is how a Gilbert Arenas can impact a team. Now how do YOU like them apples?
Kurt Angle Mark Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 WOOOOOO!!! Clippers beat the Nuggets 104-102 in overtime. Maggette had 29 points, Q had 23 They were able to overcome Carmelo's 30, 11 which he scored in overtime
The Czech Republic Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Did Utah beat Golden State? That's like the battle of my two NBA Jam teams...ten years later.
Tony149 Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Did Utah beat Golden State? That's like the battle of my two NBA Jam teams...ten years later. No. Warriors won 95-89. The Hornets should send the Spurs a gift basket. I saw the points the "Fab 4" put up and they were low.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 The supporting cast really stepped up tonight for the Clips with Brand's absence. Ely and Wilcox had themselves a solid game on both ends and I am glad that the Clips were able to keep their composure down the stretch and in OT. Very promising showing and hopefully it will carry over to the next 3 games (Hawks, Warriors, Magic). Depending on how they do on their next 2, I might go to the Magic game and check them out first hand.

But what if Utah DID make it into the #8 slot after all? "That's wee-ird." -John Travolta
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 It would be funy if Utah won the championship. The mailman would kill himself.
Slayer Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Lebron wins!! ...over the Wizards... Man, Lebron may own right now, but the Cavs are still gonna circle around the bottom of the tank </captainobvious>
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Anyone know anything about this rumored trade. Portland Gets A. Jamison M. Finley Dallas Gets: R. Wallace B. Wells Honestly that trade makes no sense.
Vern Gagne Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Wallace is such a cancer, why would Dallas even want him.
MrRant Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I'm just happy the Sonics are 3-0. Ronald Murray has been a nice suprise filling in for Ray Allen. Hope he can keep it up when Allen comes back so we can have 3 almost guaranteed 20pt a night guys with Lewis, Allen and him with a random good night from Barry, Radmonovik and other role players then the Sonics should at least be decent this season and compete for the 6-8 playoff spots.
alfdogg Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Anyone know anything about this rumored trade. Portland Gets A. Jamison M. Finley Dallas Gets: R. Wallace B. Wells Honestly that trade makes no sense. I'm just trying to imagine what could happen on a night on the town with Nash, Nowitzki, Wells and Wallace... Actually, I would be somewhat upset if this trade goes down. Wells is from around my neck of the woods, and he was finally starting to come into his own. If he goes to Dallas, he looks at possibly not even starting.
HarleyQuinn Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I'm curious as to how the lineups would look... Dallas Mavericks PG: Bonzi Wells SG: Steve Nash SF: Antoine Walker PF: Dirk Nowitzki C: Rasheed Wallace Portland Trailblazers PG: Damon Stoudamire SG: Michael Finley SF: Antawn Jamison PF: Dale Davis C: Zachary Randolph Possibly switch Davis & Randolph around
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I cant imagine Dallas trading for Jamison just to trade him again. I haven't heard or seen anything actually confirming the trade outside of Fox Sports Radio earlier in the morning so I dont know whether the trade is for real or not.
razazteca Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Dallas does need a rebounder but Wallace would get in foul trouble alot.
Guest Just J Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Well my Lakers are off to a 5-1 record. The thing that sucks is that the loss was due to fatigue from the night before. That shouldn't be a problem by the end of the season. They can still win 70. Oh and Lebron is winning the ROTY race so far.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 OMG! LeBron's team actually WON a game! OMG! OMG! P.S. - Pistons now 5-1. Not that any of you West dicksuckers care (meaning you suck the dick of the west, not that your'e actually dicksuckers. Unless you're a female). I'll be the last lone cheerleader for my Pistons here if i have to be!
MrRant Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Sonics are 3-0. Better than anyone predicted at so far.

I'll be the last lone cheerleader for my Pistons here if i have to be! You sound like an idiot. Did I say him winning the ROTY race right now has anything to do with them winning a game? NO, he has proven that he is a better all-around player then any other rookie so far. Now if you can't have a sensible discussion in here don't come back.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 (edited) ^ what does ROTY have to do with anything? It was a general comment on LeBron and the Cavaliars, not any kind of response to your comments. Hell I haven't even read most of your comments on LeBron in this thread. (in terms of ROTY, he's obviosly the frontrunner. He's doin better than Melo, and Darko has barely played) PS: What's Isiah Thomas up to these days now that he's not coaching the Pacers any more? Sorry I over-reacted. I thought you directed those comments towards me. Thank for clarifying. I haven't heard shit about Isaiah though.
HarleyQuinn Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 I think if Jarvis Hayes continues to produce for the Wizards that he could make a nice run for the ROY crown. He's averaging 14.5 PPG, 4.7 RBG, 1.5 APG, .8 SPG and .7 BPG in 6 games. Also averaging 36.2 MPG so he's been very productive. I'm also giving my vote for Comeback Player of the Year to Vin Baker right off his past few performances including tonight's game, heh.
razazteca Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Melo can score points Lebron does everything else but score Darko is learning how to speak English
Guest Just J Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Melo can score points Lebron does everything else but score Darko is learning how to speak English Carmelo is shotting 36.1 with 16.5 points per game. Lebron is shooting 43.3 with 16.8 points per game. Looks like he's as good in scoring to me, actually a little better. Lebron will make up for his poor scoring games with big numbers in other games. He could be have a 20+ avg by mid-season.
razazteca Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Lebron does not think shoot first, kind of like Jason Kidd but has the ability to score when needed. I still want to think a healthy Dwayne Wade could be ROTY.
alfdogg Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 Pacers are now 6-1 after winning in Philly. I didn't see the game, but it wasn't quite as close as I had forseen it.
