Movies or TV Shows that made you cry

Yeah, I imagine that this has been done a lot before but I was inspired by a deathvalleydriver thread and I don't remember it being done here so what out there has made you cry before?

Since I'm on an Astroboy kick lately I'm going to nominate the scene where Astro who was still essentially a baby learning about life is trapped in a box by the evil circus ringmaster. Meanwhile he's hollering out for his father who at the same time is hollering out for him. The father feels real guilty since he had gotten real mad at Astro for embarassing him at a party on a ship and now realising his outburst of anger was a mistake is looking for his lost son. They never find each other. The scene didn't quite make me cry but it was well done and very emotional.

Your picks?

For some reason, it always seems like sports movies are the ones that get to me. Hoosiers, Field of Dreams and Brian's Song all mist my eyes.

Hell, even the end of Rudi gives me goosebumps.

If Brian's Song doesn't get at least that kind of reaction out of you, then you're a heartless prick.

And for some reason, the final episode of the Wonder Years gets me every time.

What is it with you and things that make people cry? Are you TSM's resident EMO kid or something? :P

Terminator 2

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

When AHNULD is being lowered into the molten steel, and gives a thumbs-up to John as the Connors, Sarah and John, cry because they know this must be done.

Donnie Darko (although this is more because I first saw the movie after hearing a friend of mine died, and "Mad World" has gotten me to choke up ever since)

The episode of the new TMNT with the thief that forms a father/son bond with the nanotech machine (the thief's reaction at the end is what made me go "damn, this new series rules," and I still point to his episode asd my reasoning for saying the new TMNT is better than the old TMNT).

Carrie..That later 2002 version.

Saved By the Bell:Wedding in Las Vegas

Carrie because I was just plain sorry for the girl.

Saved By the Bell because I had watched it through the years and really grown to it.

I don't think I've cried at anything on the TV since Slaughter burnt Hogan in 91...

The Elephant Man depressed me, until me and my buddies turned it into a running gag/comedy

I've never understood the appeal of Field Of Dreams, much less how people could cry at it. Wow, baseball. Wow, they like it a lot. And? Then again, I do have a deep-seeded hatred for anything involving Kevin Costener, so maybe I'm just biased.

The Baseball aspect has nothing to do with the emotion and element of the movie.

It merely served as a Backdrop for the real story.

For anyone whom had a Close relationship with their father or rather, NEVER had a close relationship with their father finds the poigant final scene emotionally gutwrenching no matter how many times you've seen it.
