JoeDirt Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 I'm sure it's just some cheap magic trick, but how the hell did they do it? That always impressed me when I watched it. Foley opened the casket a few minutes before and it was empty, and then a few minutes later, Taker pops out. Cool stuff.
Guest One Trick Pony Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 It's always near the ring. Either a trap door with UT under the ring or it was a fake casket floor first shown.
WrestlingDeacon Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Actually it is a cheap magic trick. You ever see those tricks where a magician disappears from a box and then it's his assitant in there. Same principal. There's a false bottom or back. Most likely 'Taker was under the ring, slid the false side back, rolled into the casket, replaced the side flap and presto. With the match acting as distraction and the ring skirt as camoflauge no one would notice.
Guest JMA Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Maybe....MAYBE he really IS dead? If he was dead he wouldn't be able to get out of the casket at all.
The Czech Republic Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 What about, what about the time when, when Undertaker was in the casket, and, and then Paul Bearer lit it on, on fire, and then when, when they opened it up, there was, was nobody in there! That was, just wow.
TheFranchise Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 They had locked the castket too!
Guest The Rising Star Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 How about the time Kane sent lightning from his hands to try to hurt Undertaker? How did WWF get that to work?
JoeDirt Posted November 28, 2003 Author Report Posted November 28, 2003 That was easy...Glen Jacobs can really shoot lightning out of his hands when he wants to. It's really quite amazing.
DangerousDamon Posted November 29, 2003 Report Posted November 29, 2003 That was easy...Glen Jacobs can really shoot lightning out of his hands when he wants to. It's really quite amazing. I'll never know why he didn't just shoot down Shane McMahon with one of his trusty lightning bolts.....
TheFranchise Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 I dont think he wanted to use his hands the last time he electricuted Shane...
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 What about, what about the time when, when Undertaker was in the casket, and, and then Paul Bearer lit it on, on fire, and then when, when they opened it up, there was, was nobody in there! That was, just wow. When they locked the casket it was still by the ring so Taker slipped out then. If you notice Paul Bearer knocks on the casket before they roll it away to see if Taker was out yet. I guess Taker would have knocked back if he was still in it. But then again you were probably being sarcastic.
Robert Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 Certainly weird. A question that will never be awnsered, or until NBC puts out another Secrets of Pro Wrestling Special. I always wanted to know how in the that they did the Buried Alive match. It has to be something with the grass set under it, right?
Gert T Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Remember too that Undertaker-Goldust was right before HBK-Mankind, so he probably just pulled a DiBiase at WM VI.

That was, just wow. "Kane, oh my, NO, NO, Kane just set the casket on FIRE! Good God ALMIGHTY, and the Undertaker is in the casket." - paraphrase of JR Jason
Guest Anglesault Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 I wanna know how e escaed being BURIED ALAHVE~!

5_moves_of_doom Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 What about, what about the time when, when Undertaker was in the casket, and, and then Paul Bearer lit it on, on fire, and then when, when they opened it up, there was, was nobody in there! I suppose it's not fun to joke about death, but in this case I think it'd be pretty funny if UT got stuck, and when all of the guys with the fire extinguishers came in for the dramatic "OMG NO CORPSE!" moment, and they ended up finding a well-done Undertaker in there, there was a huge "oh... fuck" moment. ...What? I'd laugh.
The Metal Maniac Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Honestly now...how DID they do the buried alive match, and the hand coming up at the end? I'm assuming that there was a trap door in the side of the grave, so that 'Taker just crawled through there...But the hand? Does anyone know? Dammit, now someone's gonna give me some answer and I'm gonna go "fuck, I'm a dummy for not realizing that..."
Guest Lenskjold Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 I've also wondered that myself a lot of times, not with the hand, as it was obvious a "puppet", but how they did the burial itself...
