I met this chick around a month ago, nothing really ever happened we just hung out a couple of times and did some casual chatting. Nothing major. Okay well I invite her to a party I'm having in honor of completeling my college program early. (I had graduated in May, but I was one credit short and as a result I'm still in school for one fucking class). I invited her and she says she may show up. We're talking and I mention how I'm not looking forward to going in to work. She asks why and I explain that I suffer from depression and with it being a busy time of year for bakerys that work is often very stressful. How does she reply? "YOUR A FREAK, DON'T TALK TO ME ANYMORE" I'm all WTF? Just to be safe I tell three of my female friends and 2 of the 3 agree she's a fuckin cunt (not a term I usually bust out, so please don't take offense) and she isn't worth my time anyways. The one who didn't agree says it was stupid of me to tell her I have depression (but she is also 18 and dating a 26 year old, so her opinion don't mean much to me anyways) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hoff 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 There's a difference between "jokes" and "being a bullshit tough guy, even if you're kidding." "Two black eyes" is a joke, told obviously to garner laughs. "I'd put her head through a wall" is something said somewhat maliciously in referrence to a real person one doesn't care for. Think of it like this: "What do you tell a woman with two black eyes" is funny, "I'd give that bitch a black eye" isn't. Of course, these are just my opinions, but there's something to be said for the context of a statement.
