The rest were SSlam '99, some Behind the Scenes of TLC, and that shitty NWO DVD.

 

I paid $2.72 for Hulk Still Rules.

I really did think Walgreens was owned by WalMart, not just for the name, but because the Walgreens in town came into being along with the Super WalMart and I assumed it was a packaged deal. I was out buying Care Bears for my niece at 6 a.m., but I didn't have the verve to run up the street to the Walgreens and see what they had.

I went to Walgreens for movies this morning, not needing any WWF/E events thanks to work. However, all I even saw was Hardcore, The Game, and NWO Back In Black.

I woke up pretty late today, so by the time I got over to Walgreens, there were only 3 DVD's left:

 

Rebellion 2001, The Rock: Know Your Role and No Mercy 2001. I already had No Mercy 2001 and while I was rummaging through the rest of the CRAP they were selling, someone took the Rock DVD.

 

So, I paid 2.72 for the Rebellion DVD. Not bad, as it has extra matches on it. If it didn't, I probably wouldn't have bothered.

I went back to Walgreens a few minutes ago and they had Problem Child. I must have missed it while I was pilfering for wrestling DVD's this morning. The 2/5 sale was over so I had to pay 5.99 for it.

The WalGreens closest to me is located near a bunch of bars so I don't go there due to all the vomit that's usually located in the parking lot. Its nasty and smells...and there are usually this one pack of really fat spanish kids who range in age from (guessing) 8-11 that hang out in front that make me sick. I mean these kids are pushing 250lbs easy and its like watching Spanish Oompa-loompas minus the cuteness

I was really hoping to find Rebellion 2001, as it sounds like a decent show. My Walgreens had about 6 Vengeance 2001s. The ad in my newspaper, which I saw after I went, advertises big Hollywood movies on DVD and VHS for low prices. Here's some of those Hollywood movies I saw... Ghost Dad, Robocop 2, Problem Child, and a whole bunch of crap I've never even heard of.

I have those in VHS, but decided to update to DVD for $2.50 apiece. I saw a bunch in VHS such as Funniest Moments, Best of RAW 3, Lita, Hardy Boyz: Leap of Faith, Before They Were Superstars among others. On DVD I also saw No Mercy 2001 (which I had spent $4.99 on at K-mart earlier in the day), Rebellion 2001, Hulk Still Rules, HHH: The Game, Rock: Just Bring It. The other thing I got, cause I couldn't pass it up for $1.50 was a VHS copy of Blacula.

Picked up Summerslam 2001 for the hell of having DVD Quality of the show since my VHS version is shot to hell. Damn watching Angle/Austin all the time.

 

Also picked up No Mercy 2001 DVD and The Rock: Just Bring It just to add to my collection of crap. I still am waiting for them to put out nWo DVD. BASTARDS!

 

My store is being a bitch, only putting more out when some are sold.

They probably have them stored in the back of the store, int he room labeled EMPLOYEES ONLY. All you have to do is tell them you're interested in their WWE videos, so you show the cash they will show the "merchandise." It may work. Its not like some UPS come by twice a day to Walgreens just to deliver old WWF Videos.

Yeah, happens everywhere. So many people hate wrestling. When I mention at school that I watch pro wrestling, they say "You do know its fake right?" This is so annoying!

I had a hell trip to the Walgreens near me. I'll go into details if you wish to know, but I have had a horrible day.

 

When I got there, they didn't have the sale. I did however pick up two WWF Hardcore DVDs (one for me and one for my cousin) and the Hulk Still Rules DVD (for my cousin, I already have it). When I left in search of the stores, the ONE DVD that I was really hoping to find was indeed that Hardcore DVD, so I can't be too pissed off. They were $5.99 each, which is still a great deal to me.

 

Had the special sale been going on, you can be sure that I would've bought EVERY Pro. Wrestling DVD that they had, even if I already had them. You could sell them to other people and make a few bucks if you could get them for fucking $2.50 or whatever.

 

Note: The closest Walgreens to me is an hour away...it took much much longer than an hour to get there today.
