Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 By Dave Meltzer On Spike TV's video games award show, they are advertising Raw vs. Smackdown matches at the show. There are scheduled to be a first-run Raw vs. Smackdown match between significant names as well as a second match on the show. I believe the high profile match will be taped Tuesday night in San Jose.

MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 And to think, I thought it would be HHH and Brock Lesnar there playing Smackdown: HCTP against each other. Right after the F5, HHH would pull Brock's controller plug and win with a Pedigree.
Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted November 30, 2003 No there not, it's either gonna be something with the two video game franchises or there going to have wrestlers take eachother on in a game. But yeah it's Meltz, so go on as if it were surely true in every way.....
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 I wouldn't say that Raw vs. Smackdown is "guaranteed money".
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted November 30, 2003 It's so going to be a match played on Smackdown: HCtP. HHH cheating against Brock would be hilarious.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 Maybe it will be Dudley Boys vs Big Show & Albert playing WM19 on Gamecube. The Road to Wrestlemania makes a pitstop at this pointless award show.

Guest JRE Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Could it be Raw 2 vs. Smackdown: HCTP? No. Raw 2 doesn't get marketed....at all. On heat, it was revealed that Coach and Al Snow will attend the show...
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Is Spike the company that develops Fire Pro Wrestling video games? Do they have a TV-channel as well? I don't know if I should laugh or cry at the stupidity in that statement if the creaters of FPW (IN JAPAN!) have a T.V network called Spike T.V.

A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Have Jericho and Rey ever had a match in WWE? I remember them having a couple of fights in passing last Summer on Smackdown, but other than that, nothing. If it's a real match, I'm so watching that show...or maybe just Tivo-ing it. The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Why does the WWE have to appear on EVERYTHING Spike TV related? The same reason Mizark Henry keeps appearing WWE television. Viacom invested a ridiculous amount of money in WWE programming, just like the WWE invested a sick amount of money in Mark Henry. Both companies feel the need to try to get blood from the proverbial stones they've purchased, and they're pushing them as much as possible.

The night Rey debuted was Jericho's last Smackdown. Rey interfered in Jericho's cage match. I do believe.
Guest Megatron Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I'll bet it's Jericho/Rey playing themselves in a video game match. But shouldn't Booker T be the one on the show since he's always criticized for playing video games backstage?
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I'm surprised they didn't do hoss vs. cruiser, because then HCTP's shitty character balance could reflect what happens on TV.

Maybe the fact that Raw is the highest rated show on Spike TV and the only show to get in the top 15 for the channel everyweek.
