The 10 Most Dangerous Cities

Recommended Posts

1. Detroit, MI

Easily. When you get within 20 km of city limits you drop dead from the fumes.

Heck, and Detroit does that WITHOUT competent sports teams to really get those riot numbers.

MAN, if the Tigers or Lions ever became competent, that place would be quite horrible.

why isn't Compton on the list

Aren't they historically a bad city?

Or was Dre just lying to us?

Well, all of the hoods are out of town, rapping about how hardcore their lifestyle was.

Wow, we're down to #2. Someone commit a felony... ah, there we go.

"Commit a felony"?

Would the Medicare prescription bill qualify?

Seems like grand theft to me.

They have the Red Wings. And before anyone pulls the 'Americans don't care about hockey' card, I don't think that applies to 'Hockeytown'.

Thank you, TC. We are almost as rabid as Montreal and Toronto fans (It's up for debate, but I honestly think you guys edge us out) when it comes to Hockey.

And I find it funny that while Detroit is on top, you have three places that are relatively close to it on the safest list. Hell, Detroit doesn't even make the top 25 on the Dangerous Metro Areas list. I suppose you could call that "containment" in a way...

But imagine the riots if the Lions became good.

What if they won the Super Bowl?

I mean riots ON TOP of hell freezing over?

Woohoo! Go Dallas!! Actually, I think this isn't so much the people as it is the shitty police department, who in hte last few years had a fake drug scandal involving drywall being mistaken for coke.

The thing with Dallas is to stay the fuck away from Oak Cliff. However, I do wonder if they also consider Fort Worth as part of Dallas, as they also have some fucked up parts, like you can see coyotes on the streets.

But yeah, I need to go to California, and then start picking fights in Mission Viejo..something about that place just screams pussies.

There wouldn't be any riots. We'd just be sitting at our T.V.s, mouthes agape and staring in disbelief.

Seattle is #9 on the safest list.... you'd think with all the coffee and unemployment in this state people would be a little more wired and highstrung.

Shit, I also thought that the Nati would make in top 10, I guess we're still in the bush-leagues. Youngstown has always had a hardcore rep, it's like living in a gritty 70s crime film.

What, the area around the Joe, and Comerica Park and Ford Field is safe imo, but if you go the other way down Woodward, you could run into some shit. But trust me downtown has come a long fucking way. And here is a twist of irony, I had to go to watch Michael Moore speak at Eastern Michigan, and I went with a kid named Michael Moore from......Flint, Michigan. Funny

I'm glad that my tenure in DC was marked by taking the Metro to work in the morning and back in the afternoon and staying the hell in the Foggy Bottom district the rest of the time.

3. Baltimore, MD

w00t~! Go hometown!

I'm actually glad I live in the suburbs now (Harford County), but I've never had any problems on the occasions I've gone back into Baltimore. And when I go, I'm normally downtown.
