Cuban Linx Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 I like it more than most shirts the WWE puts out, though that's not saying very much.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 That chic was right, the sleeves does make it look feminine.
art_vandelay Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 That chic was right, the sleeves does make it look feminine. ... or "emo," same thing.
Guest Choken One Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 what's that little thing at the bottom?
A Happy Medium Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Eh, I don't think it's emo. Well, emo around these parts, is simply tight black t-shirt (optional on the black) and tight faded jeans. Really, it's preps that decide to be "hardcore" one day. I don't consider it emo, because I don't think 260 pound guys drinking beer and hitting a 16" clincher is feminine.
Dr. Zoidberg Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 ehhh...I prefer the old Cena one. Mainly because a lot of my friends and I throw up the horns and proclaim "Word Life". When's a new Matt Hardy shirt coming out? I want more V-ONE-UH!
MrRant Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 ehhh...I prefer the old Cena one. Mainly because a lot of my friends and I throw up the horns and proclaim "Word Life". You shouldn't be allowed to leave your house.
DangerousDamon Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 ehhh...I prefer the old Cena one. Mainly because a lot of my friends and I throw up the horns and proclaim "Word Life". You shouldn't be allowed to leave your house. Yea, so we can't see him.
Guest Quik Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Hail to thee, yon uber-dork who wears that.
Jobber of the Week Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Meh, it's only okay. You guys are just marking out because it acknowledges company past that Vince likes to imagine never happened aside from when a novelty act returns on nostalgia (Hogan, Piper, etc)
PLAGIARISM! Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Best WWE shirt I can recall, and I probably would wear it. Wouldn't pay for it, however.
claydude14 Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 The best thing about the Big Show shirt, that no one is mentioning, is that it's ONLY available in XL, XXL, and XXXL. As for the Cena shirt, I dig it a lot, but to be true throwback they really need the F on there. They wouldn't get in trouble for that logo, right?
Adam Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 I doubt it, because only the scratch logo was banned.
CanadianChick Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 But if the F was there, what would it stand for? The logo, obviously, is double meaning. There's the old-school element, and that the W stands for Word Life. The F in there wouldn't work.
Mole Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 I might get it if I get the money for it.
Lord of The Curry Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Kaentei's "Evil" shirt is still better.
Slickster Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 As for the Cena shirt, I dig it a lot, but to be true throwback they really need the F on there. They wouldn't get in trouble for that logo, right? No, they can use the block logo (see their reproductions of classic WWE belts like the Winged Eagle and the old IC belt).
Guest Basswitch Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 The Cena shirt is cool. But IMO, the best WWF shirt ever was the Austin 3:16 one. It was plain and simple, and everyone had one.
Guest godofdeadlydeath Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Obviously they can use the block logo, but why would they do that? This is a W for WORD LIFE, and it is a "visual pun" if you will, as it is a play on the old WWF logo. Nothing more, nothing less. The end.
Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 That shirt looks like crap, i wouldn't even use it to wipe my dog's ass.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 I thought the W.F Word liFe. You're joking, right?
dubq Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Just as ghey as any other wrestling short. Still wouldn't be caught dead in it. I, too, would be embarassed wearing a shirt as a pair of shorts. There's a difference between pointing out blatant idiocy when it comes to spelling and sentence structure... and pointing out typos. 'i' is beside 'o' - I type fast. Deal with it.
