Guest CherBear Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Episode 715: It's Christmas In Canada The Brovlofski family is dealt a devastating blow when Ike's Canadian birth parents show up unexpectedly and want their baby back. When the townspeople decide to forego Christmas gifts and take up a collection to get Ike home to South Park, the boys are distraught. Before all the money for their Christmas presents gets spent, they hightail it to Canada to bring Ike home themselves.
5_moves_of_doom Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 I missed like a season and a half of this show and started watching again at the goth episode (which kicked ass, by the way)... but I don't get it -- is Kenny still around? He died, then he came back through Cartman... I don't recall him being in the last episode... but he's in this one? I'm just confused now.
Guest Bottled Black Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 He just kind of appeared at the beginning of last year IIRC..
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Please let there be a Saddam reference in this episode...
Guest Bottled Black Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 That would be absolutely gold, but I think it may be a little too short notice. Unless they already had one in the can in the event of his capture. Which wouldnt surprise me in the least.
Mik Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 It only takes 5 days for a whole episode, I'm sure they can fit a mention in in a day.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 (edited) They've done timely events before. The Falcons going to the Super Bowl and Martha Stewart come to mind... Edited December 16, 2003 by kkktookmybabyaway
Guest El Satanico Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Even if episodes are done week by week, I doubt they have enough time to do it this week.
Nevermortal Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Well, when the Elian Gonzalez thing happened (Easter Sunday), they had a parody ready by Wednesday. So yeah, you could expect a Saddam reference.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 This is the best season ever because the person who starts the thread is always banned. (except for Ravenbomb I think)
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Well, when the Elian Gonzalez thing happened (Easter Sunday), they had a parody ready by Wednesday. So yeah, you could expect a Saddam reference. Forgot about that one. This is the best season ever because the person who starts the thread is always banned. (except for Ravenbomb I think) Nah, I started one of these threads as well -- then someone told me Eagan always starts them and then gets banned...
Nevermortal Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 This episode is GOLD. GOLD. PLATINUM!
DerangedHermit Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 I love the return of Scott. What a dick.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 FUCKING FUNNY! SADDAM TOOK OVER CANADA!
Guest El Satanico Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 They did it again...but makes me think this episode was already made and then they changed it to Saddam.
Ravenbomb Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 Cartman crying when Kyle hit him was gold.
DerangedHermit Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 Cartman crying when Kyle hit him was gold. What the hell was with the weird crying, though? Was it in reference to anything?
DMann2003 Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 They probably had the Sadaam part in place and then just added the line about the spiderhole and added the beard onto his face after Sunday.
razazteca Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 Cartman crying like a little bitch is symbolic of the way the USA govt has been bullying the world. The second someone stands up to the bully and fights back the bully cries for mommy. Cartman is a capitalistic piggy.
Guest JMA Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 Uh-oh. This won't turn out good... (jumps in foxhole)
razazteca Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 The City Wok guy was funny as was the Wizard of Oz parody. Overall the last episode of the season was a good one but not as good as the Red Sleigh Down Xmas special.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 So that was episode eight of the current season?...
DerangedHermit Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 No, episode 15 and the season finale. 701 I'm A Little Bit Country 9th April 2003 702 Krazy Kripples 26th March 2003 703 Toilet Paper 2nd April 2003 704 Cancelled 19th March 2003 705 Fat BUTT and Pancake Head 16th April 2003 706 Lil' Crimes Stoppers 23rd April 2003 707 Red Man's Greed 30th April 2003 708 South Park Is Gay 22nd October 2003 709 Christian Rock Hard 29th October 2003 710 Grey Dawn 5th November 2003 711 Casa Bonita 12th November 2003 712 All About Mormons 19th November 2003 713 BUTT Out 3rd December 2003 714 Raisins 10th December 2003 715 It's Christmas Time In Canada 17th December 2003

Guest netslob Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 What the hell was with the weird crying, though? Was it in reference to anything? Cartman crying like a little bitch is symbolic of the way the USA govt has been bullying the world. The second someone stands up to the bully and fights back the bully cries for mommy. Cartman is a capitalistic piggy. uh, i think your reading too much into it...he cried like that because he's a 9-year-old who just got popped in the mouth...and it hurt.
Renegade Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 What was up with Kenny dying? Been a while since I saw that.
razazteca Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 What was up with Kenny dying? Been a while since I saw that. Well the "You killed Kenny" joke got stale, so they only use it when there is a good reason.
