HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2003 Just got accepted to Colby-Sawyer College(up in New Hampshire) over the phone(very awesome Xmas now as I got my 1st car earlier in the week). So, what college are you attending or did you attend? It'd be neat to see the diversity amongst where people go/went.

Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2003 I applied nowhere, because honestly, my grades were okay and not being sure what I wanted to do, I saw little point in spending tons of money I didn't have just to say that I was "on my own." So I'm at the local CC, which is probably one of Michigan's better CC's around, as people from a lot of areas attend it. I'm one of the few people in my classes who actually lives in town. Guest stardust Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Stardust, University of North Texas is different than North Texas State, the awesome music school, right? Nope, it's the exact same school. We used to be North Texas State University but the name was changed to University of North Texas some time or another. We still have one of the top ranked music programs in the nation, and I think our jazz program is is like the number one or two ranked program in the US or something like that. The ones that lost to Memphis in the New Orleans Bowl? That North Texas? Is it wrong that I don't think of my school as a school.......but as a football team that happens to have a school named after them?

Guest stardust Report post Posted December 19, 2003 Eh, I don't really care all that much. We're a music school for crying out loud. And we still had a bowl game and were still conference champions for the third year in a row. *shrug*
