So overall how was your Christmas?

This is different from the gift one. So, overall how was your Christmas? Was it the best? The worst? etc

 

For me it was a good Christmas. I was with my family, had good dinner, good fun. So it was a good Christmas for me.

Drinks were thrown in faces, multiple accusations of ruining Christmas were made, and I pulled out a South Park reference, which I rarely do. "Screw you guys... I'm going home." It was great.

I'd say it was pretty good this year. I opted to NOT go to my Uncle's for dinner and not spend X-Mas with people I barely know. So I drove out and visited my dad and grandparents. I had to drive back that night, but the extra miles and missing gas were worth it.

 

Of course now I have my b'day coming up (considering how off the clock usually is, it's probably already my b'day on TSM time). So that should be a blast.

Mine was good. I got to spend Christmas with the people I like most, went to Midnight Mass, did the whole gift thing, etc. Overall, I enjoyed Christmas this year. The only downside was that I didn't see my parents, but they'll be in town next week, so it's all good.

Good Times. Same thing every year. Christmas Eve at one Aunt and Uncle's house, Christamas at another Aunt and Uncle's house.

 

See the same relatives, but we all get along so no real arguments and fighting.

Mine was average, Presents were good nothing particularly standout, enjoyed having the family over though, just learnt my grandparents were going to be buying a house in the city were i live soon, so i'll be able to see them lots more which is really cool.

Well, I got 99% of the presents I wanted so that was good. But, other than that, I didn't really like it. Christmas Eve was kind of blah. I went to my grandma and grandpa's house and opened my grandma's present for me and saw the Family Guy Christmas Special. And I slept through Christmas Day after I got my gifts. I think that can be attributed to me not sleeping at all during Christmas Eve and being absolutely postively tired during the beginning of Christmas Day. That and a pessimistic, bitter, cynical, negative attitude that I've devloped during this past year. Luckily, I got to see the Disney Christmas Day Parade on ABC with Christy Romano before I fell asleep so that was good.

 

The 4 things that made this year suck was:

1.)My Playstation 2 becoming broken and having to send it to Pennslyvania to get it fix just when I got Tony Hawk Underground and SSX 3 as Christmas Presents.

 

2.)Not being able to see my cousin which REALLY suck since I had been looking forward to it so much.

 

3.)Not getting a chance to see A Christmas Story and taping it even though I've seen that movie every year since 1996.

 

4.)Spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day re-installing all the programs and files in my computer since I just got it fixed last Monday. Still re-installing by the way.

 

Overall, it wasn't as good as last year's Christmas. Even though I didn't get alot of presents last year, I was alot more lively and happy than I was this year. Plus, I got to see my cousins, who ended up staying over at my house during Christmas Break (and led to my crush on Christy Romano). Also, I wasn't AS bitter, negative, pessimistic, and cynical, obsessive-compulsive last year as I am this year.

 

So, yeah, I liked last year's Christmas better.

good...sorta...I wasn't anywhere near being in the 'Christmas spirit', so Christmas just seemed like a random day where i got a lot of gifts, which was cool, but sorta bleh :-/

This was probably the most unmemorable Christmas ever for me.

 

I stayed out late on Xmas eve and got home at around 5:30AM. So, I slept for most of Xmas day (til 7:30PM) while my family was out and celebrating with extended family members.

 

I woke up just to watch the Smackdown from Iraq and went to bed again a few hours later. I was up for only about 5 hours, was pretty much alone and I didn't get many gifts at all.

Long story short:

 

I drove two hours Christmas Eve after working all day and thus was pretty damned tired. Didn't sleep worth a dam that night, plus my allergies have been driving me nuts. My mom was drunk the ENTIRE 24 hours I was there (she woke up still drunk Christmas morning). Two of my dad's friends kept hitting on me. One kept trying to give me a massage and the other kept following me around or just looking at me funny. So I spent my entire time at home feeling extremely uncomfortable and wishing like hell my boyfriend were there. I kept having to go into my youngest brother's room or outside to escape all of the weed smoke, since my parents, their friends, and my brother and his girlfriend lit up so many damned times I lost count. I got the worst Christmas present my mom has ever given me. Apparently I was "hard to shop for" this year. Hell, I would've been happy with a box of fucking film since it's something I would definitely use, or a stuffed monkey or something since that would have indicated that she'd actually put some thought into what she was getting me. My niece, who I absolutely adore, wasn't there so I only got to see her for like 15/20 minutes Christmas Eve.

 

Basically, I was tired and miserable the entire time I was there and kept having to mother my mother and stay away from older men who gave me the creeps and made me uncomfortable.
