The Bills are playing Cincinnati for the third straight year.

And this time...I'm not happy about it.

What looks good now (Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Jacksonville, Oakland) always ends up sucking by the time next year rolls around.

ouch

Baltimore

Home: Miami Dallas Kansas City

Miami finally comes to Baltimore, KC again and Dallas...

Away: New England N.Y. Jets Philadelphia Indianapolis

Those road games are tough

Dammit, why couldn't NE be coming to Baltimore? I would have been able to see the Pats.

Stupid schedule makers!

Damn... Jacksonville's got a championship-like schedule this year...

I think they can work it if they draft right(WR, LB, and OL help) and Brackens/Douglas actually show up to play the entire season.

I can't wait for McNair vs Favre next year. Although I might only have to wait a couple more weeks. ;)

Why? You plan on buying this year's Madden and having them play each other on CPU mode in a couple weeks, because there's no way both teams make it to the SB.

My Saints has an pretty tough schedule.. still don't have the Williams Vs. McAllister match-up, though.

San Francisco

Home:Arizona, St. Louis, Seattle, Atlanta, Carolina, Buffalo, Miami, Washington

Away: Arizona, St. Louis, Seattle, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, New England, N.Y. Jets, Chicago

That's a bit of a tough schedule on paper... Although, I'm sure things will have changed by the time the 2004 season gets going.

The game I fear most (looking at it right now) is the road game at New England.

Detroit

Home:Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Washington, Houston, Indianapolis, Arizona

Away: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Atlanta

It looks like it will be another bad year for the Lions. It looks like that road losing streak will stay in tact for another season, as, other than Chicago, the Giants, and MAYBE Minnesota, I can't see the Lions beating any of those other teams on the road next year.

Well, another year of high draft picks ahead!

Jacksonville's D is going to keep them in more games next year.

Oh, definitely they will. Henderson and Stroud played like gods this year(I still think Henderson should have made the PB since he and Stroud put up similar numbers) and Mike Peterson will get better hopefully. I'm still a bit worried about the secondary, but a decent pick-up in FA or in the draft will help that lil problem out.

Philadelphia

Home:Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, Green Bay, Minnesota, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Carolina

Away: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, St. Louis

I like that Home/Road split. Granted,

a.) The Eagles are better on the road than home

and

b.) like it was mentioned things don't work out the way they should on paper.

But looking at that right now it is hard to dispute that 5 of the 6 toughest non-division teams come to Philly, which can't be bad.

I will definately be at the Skins/49ers game. Last time I went in 2002 and the game was dull and the crowd was barely alive, which I guess was good since I was a fan of the visiting team. Oh and the 49ers stadium sucks that place needs to be torn down ASAP. Now Fed Ex field, there is a beauty.....

Washington

Away: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, San Francisco

Bunch of hard teams at home, anda bunch of sorta easy teams away.

Yep, we're going to suck again as we've got a nice offense that want's to throw (I hope, if htey bring in a new coach who wants to run, I'm going to die), and all the away games are in cold places for the most part.

Fans bitching about schedules is almost as pointless as players and coaches bitching about schedules. Yes, you have to play haf your games on the road. Yes, saying you're playing a "championship schedule" is ridiculous, considering the way many teams' fortunes change from year to year. The only two teams that can legitimately gripe about their schedules, IMO, are the ones forced into traveling on short weeks by playing at Dallas or Detroit on Thanksgiving. Any other bickering is rubbish.
