7 Teens Killed During Police Car Chase

Mike:

I wanted to say that when you made your post a couple months back in the LSD folder about how your crazy ex (?) attacked you, I thought that was very ballsy of you to do so since I doubt many other guys here (or even in 'real' public) would admit to such a thing.

Just wanted to get that out.

It's a problem. What a man can do when a woman becomes violent is a challenge. Hitting them is immoral and wrong, but taking a beating is also wrong and unfair. So, what a man can do is something that society has never clearly spelled out. I mean, if your life is in jeopardy, then yes, dropping them like bad habit is perfectly OK. If your life is NOT in jeopardy, though, then what do you do?

Well, she's up North, probably blowing random guys for pot and cocaine while bemoaning her fate in life. So be it.

I, though, do not blame anybody for what happened to me. I ignored a lot of red flags in regards to her and suffered for it. I, like you, have learned a valuable lesson and, hopefully, will never get stuck in a similar situation.

-=Mike

Love (if you did love her) tends to blind folks.

I'd say that I'm in more of a precarious situation than you based on my size (I'm 6'10") and that would make it hard for a police officer to be understanding to me flooring some psycho girl who was hitting the crap out of me (not to mention damn risky since I could possibly injure her badly or worse).

It's really a lose-lose situation no matter what.

You might think you ignored some red flags but I doubt you were prepared for her going nuts on you so don't be shouldering too much of the blame on yourself. If you did see the fight coming then I'd say you handled it the best way possible.

Bitches be trippin'.

B-)

How is she up North? Did you not press charges against her?

I loved her dearly, but my family warned me about her from the get go. My mother (who instructs psychiatric nurses and works at a mental hospital) told me that she'd always choose drugs over me as she is completely addicted to them and is quite unwilling to admit the problem --- and she did just that.

I had no choice about the charges. Once the neighbors called the cops, the charges were filed no matter what I said (as in most states, cops will press charges on the complaint whether you want them to or not). Her trial was, last I heard, in December. I doubt she got jail time --- I called the prosecutor and told him that jail time would be wasted on her as she desperately needs psychological help, but will never get it --- but I don't know. I've been shuttling constantly between SC and FL ever since, trying to get a job in FL so I can completely disappear from her. My grandmother passed away and has a gorgeous house very near Daytona Beach that my mother and brother would like to rent to me.

I'm not a small guy (6'1, 215), but I know she bruises easy (she'd wake up in the morning with huge bruises on her leg and we'd have no idea how it happened) and if I hit her, no matter how softly, she would have bruised. I also know, thanks to my brother (defense lawyer) that the cops would simply have written it down to a boy v girl fight and arrested both of us.

Of course, I have virtually no trust in women whatsoever --- and seeing all of the women I am friendly with cheating on their boyfriends or what have you (and I LITERALLY mean all of them) hasn't really alleviated that problem.

I feel for you Mike.

My first ever real girlfriend did a number on me (lies, deception, but no cheating involved) and I thought I would never find a "good" woman again or fall in love again (I was a freshmen in high school at the time so damned if I knew what 'love' really was at that point). All my friends were telling me how she was not someone I should go out with and she would end up hurting me. I blew them all off because I was in "love" and figured that I was invincible and knew *everything* there was to making the relationship successful. I turned out to be wrong and it took a while for me to recover from the ordeal but I moved on. I wasn't crippled or dead so I had another shot at finding love with someone else.

I managed to find a girl who shared a lot of the same aspirations and ideas as I did and we have been together for about 6 years now. You might have to look for a while but you'll find the "right" girl at some point. You are a really smart guy Mike and I doubt women let this go unnoticed, albeit they don't directly tell you to your face. I'm sure some girl will bring this to your attention at some point and you'll find out that she is right (no pun intended) for you.

I wasn't aware that the fight caused such a commotion that the neighbors were brought into it which sounds like it was as bad as you said it was. Having a brother who works in law probably has it's perks in a case like this so I'd probably let him handle things for you (if anything else needs to be dealt with from a legal standpoint). Of course you probably realize this but that's still pretty cool that you have a brother who works in law.

Maybe what you need is a fresh change of scenary as from what I can gather from your posts, you aren't too happy living in SC. So perhaps the Florida house (RIP your grandmother) is just what you need. It doesn't hurt that many of the women down there are probably ridiculously hot so maybe taking it easy in Daytona is just what you need.

Don't let the bitch knock you out from the possibility of finding love again Mike.

*Yawn*

Translation:

"I tried to use someone as a cat's paw but I was flatly contradicted by my intended tool and shown up as a bully and a liar by my intended target. I don't have a substantive response and I don't have the guts to admit I was wrong, so I'm going to pretend I'm so far above this discussion that it's making me dizzy. I will now take my ball and go home to cry."

That's more coherent and logical than most of your posts, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.

Thanks for playing though.

Oh my goodness! A generic "zinger" that saps your target's self-esteem and renders any counterattack or defense useless! CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN

And you don't even win the car.

But we do have some generic trinkets and bars of bath soap for her as security escorts her out of the door!

Marney really, you can do better than this. You've lost a step. Your flames are just so *yawn* inducing now. Perhaps you should insult my religion while using SAT words and calling me a cretin and various other curse words. *Goldmember tone* That's kind of your thing you know?

And now, to try and drag this back on topic, or close to it...

What if Sass or CWM, to posters with well chronicled alchohol addictions died in an accident due to drunk driving? Would your responses be the same?

Yes. I have zero sympathy for people who bring misfortune upon themselves. I have even less, if that's possible, for people who carelessly risk the lives of others while bringing misfortune upon themselves. Drunk drivers who maim or kill someone while surviving the accident themselves should be put out of society's misery by the first officer to arrive on the scene.

These kids were seriously a risk to everyone on any road near them.

Exactly. As least they didn't take any innocent people out with them..other than that tree.
