SWF: The Music Vol. 3

Recommended Posts

I was playing around with the idea of compiling a CD with all the themes from the 2003 SWF PPV's, but that only took up about thirty minutes or so, so I figured I should add a few wrestler's themes to fill out the CD. I've designated a few wrestler's themes as essential, due to their status, as shown below:

Disturbed - Prayer (Clusterfuck)

The Rolling Stones - Paint it Black (From the Fire)

Mudvayne - Not Falling (Battleground)

The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army (13th Hour)

Linkin Park - Faint (Ground Zero)

Carl Orff - O Fortuna (Genesis)

Nine Inch Nails - Sin (Ashes 2 Ashes)

Blink 182 - I Won't Be Home for Christmas (The Fight Before Christmas)

Blessid Union of Souls - Go Home ("Grand Slam" Mark Stevens)

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train (The Suicide King)

DMX - Who We Be (The HVille Thugg)

Blue Oyster Cult - Godzilla (The Boston Strangler)

Andrew W. K. - I Get Wet (Annie Eclectic)

The above track list still leaves me with just about thirty minutes of space left on the CD. Now, here's the exercise, boys and girls: I want you guys to give me a group of wrestler's themes to fill out my CD with; the combined play time of your recommendation cannot exceed thirty minutes, though.

I will announce whoever I pick as having the best suggestion, and award the winner with a no-prize... or something... maybe I'll put you over in my next HOLT report.

Any takers?

- Dub Cee

- Minor edit on the name of my entrance theme.

Home - Blessid Union Of Souls

If you can look into his tired and weary eyes

The can tell a million stories of all he holds inside

Waiting patiently 'til the day he dies

For a better life-for a better life

For a better life-for a better life

He saw people die because of their beliefs

He saw a leader shot down cold by men behind the trees

But he believes he believes that one day he will see

Love and harmony-love and harmony

Love and harmony-love and harmony

He said

Take me to a world that's filled with happy people

Take me to a land where the poor men are the rich ones

Where there are smiling faces and the lonely ain't alone

Take me to that peaceful place I call Home

Tell me how it is that someone can't believe

When the sun gives light and brown comes to the leaves

But we have got our own ideas of how the story's told

Lies and make believe-lies and make believe

Lies and make believe-lies and make believe

He said

Take me to a world that's filled with happy people

Take me to a land where the poor men are the rich ones

Where there are smiling faces and the lonely ain't alone

Take me to that peaceful place I call Home

Silly Mark and his senility, resulting in his fabrication of nonexistant songs. I say we put him in a burlap sack filled with traditional old-person food, tapioca pudding, and throw sticks at him.

As for actually contributing to this thread, it can only be Mr. G's "Antipop" repeated/remixed as many times as needed.

"Home" and "Go Home" are not the same thing at all.

"Go Home" is a song written especially for the Cincinnati Reds and Great American Ballpark. In fact, I think it is one of like two songs on the album that doesn't specifically reference the Reds. Lyrics? Well, since you asked nicely, here is the chorus:

Go Home!

You're Done.

Hit the showers.

Thanks for the runs.

You Bum!

You got rocked.

Just beat it.

You got the hook.

Go Home!

More... well, I guess so...

Hey pitcher well I guess that was your fastball.

I don't know if you could get it past my grandma.

Are you wondering if this was just a bad dream?

Think about it on your way back to the farm team.

And that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

I'll see if I can hook anyone who really cares up with a copy.

I'd like to point out i spent a good half hour trying to find GSMS's entrance (i have EVERYONE ELSES, including my custom mix version, by me which only people who have it from me have heard) and with less dice than a conferernce of Islamic clerics on the ills of gambling in society, I gave up.

Me or Dace can host it if you can fling the mp3 to us GS.

...and if it's daft as anything, like most baseball songs are it should be the hidden track on SWF the music. Sleep Now In The Fire SHOULD be on it, cos it's Ejiro and JnR, and rap gets a touch underrepresented, so some Wu Tang action (either Bring Da Pain for me, or Let's Get Dirty for the almighty WC... hey i just figured something, if my face music is Meth and WC's is Redman we now DEFINATELY have to tag up and come out to Blackout or Da Rockwilder :))

Two things to say here---

1.) If someone were to make these CD and send it to me, I would think very highly of you. This looks awesome.

2.) I'm wondering where my entrance is (I guess when people found out it was a cheesy baseball song it lost popularity) and I beg for the inclusion of the all time greatest entrance music ever --> Midnight Carnival - "Love Rollercoaster" by Red Hot Chili Peppers

I'm going to make a copy of "Go Home" available tonight after the show goes up, I think. I'll e-mail it to you or Dace. I have a copy of Love Rollercoaster also.

Guest Goodear

Would it be weird for me to mention that I have never even heard my own theme music? I just went with whatever Judge told me the music was :)

I can also host, I think, and as with the Taamo Flesheri Collection of puro CDs, I'd be happy to burn these for people (three disks shouldn't be bad, postagewise).

I just wanted to say that a copy of my entrance is now in Dace's hands. be warned though, Dace laughed at me when he heard it.

Of course, this means Dace has no taste, but whatever...

If this is actually going to be made by anyone...

...my music will be changing for the bumpage, from "Suck My Kiss" to "Don't You Wish You Were Me" by Fozzy, from the WWE Originals CD. Yes, I own it. It sucks. But that song fits Maddix better than "SMK" does.

Just...a note.

Doesn’t matter ‘cos you couldn’t get it by her!

You got rocked!

So just beat it!

You got the hook,

There’s an icepack waiting for you in the dugout!

Are you wondering if this is just a bad dream?

Think about it on your way back to the farm team!

Ball 3: Inside!

Ball 4: Goodbye!

See ya later, sayonara and don’t come back!

Yeah now you gotta..

Go home!

You’re done!

Hit the showers!

Thanks for the runs, you bum!

You got rocked!

So just beat it!

You got the hook,

You got the hook,

GO HOME!

GO HOME!

GO HOME!

GO HOME!

Time is called and there’s a signal to the bullpen,

BRING HIM ON SO WE CAN WHACK HIM TOO!

Go home! (Go home!)

You’re done! (You’re done!)

Hit the showers! (Hit the showers!)

Thanks for the runs, you bum! (You bum!)

You got rocked! (GOT ROCKED!)

So just beat it! (Just beat it!)

You got the hook,
