Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 This had me stumped since last week...I mean, the belts are all on heels so title shots are out(even if they were to bring back Jazz, Molly has her own issues with Victoria). However, the Torch Heat recapper had an idea, based on what was seemingly a passing name-drop on the show tonight. When Dreamer did his version of the Skyhigh on Matt Hardy, Coachman commented that that was one of Al Snow's old moves. Snow then said that he made it so popular that D-Lo Brown(mentioned by name and also mentioned as no longer being with WWE) started using it himself. Coachman likewise gave a shoutout to his former broadcasting partner. Now, I don't know D-Lo's exact status with NWA-TNA, but let's do the math: -D-Lo was Henry's tag team partner a while back. -D-Lo was also Long's first WWE protege before being turfed for Rodney Mack. -D-Lo was turfed out after losing what would turn out to be his final WWE match to...Booker T. Mark Henry is currently feuding with...Booker T. Hmm. (Now watch it just be another no-DQ match with Booker.) -Patrick

razazteca 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 I bet its going to be something simple like a match vs Booker T for the next PPV. Or it could be a title match vs one of the Evolution guys. Mark Henry wants the gold..........playa.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 I can't see why D'Lo would ever return. He basically got blackballed and jobbed out after the Droz incident. No reason to think it would be any different if he went back.

Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 I don't think there's a word that has any less meaning in the wrestling world than "never". But, of course, I'm using logic to try to determine the outcome of a WWE angle, which is wrong right there... -Patrick

Styles 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 TNA has all their top guys locked up to 1 year contracts with second year company options (I'm not so sure about Dlo though. He wasn't being used for a while because of his Japanese commitments but I have to asume since they've used him the last few weeks that he's signed). Why Back the Mack when you can be Down with the Brown!

Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 (edited) What exactly about WWE booking in the last two years makes you think that they'd put subtle hints in an episode of Heat to advance a mid-card storyline? Absolutely nothing. Maybe I'll go to bed early tomorrow night instead of watching the Clique egofuck that is the "World Title" situation, crippled Austin hogging the TV time, Jericho being made to look like an idiot as he turns face, and RVD and Matt Hardy being relegated to curtain-jerking or Heat duty. If it weren't for alternatives, I'd have given up on this borderline-criminal industry a long time ago. Vince belongs in a jail cell, not a business office. -Patrick Edited January 5, 2004 by PowerPB13

EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 Remember when Chyna clamped a vice on Henry's cock? No, that was PMS (Pretty Mean Sisters) Jackie and Terri that did that. Chyna had a transsexual have sex with Henry and got it on tape and showed it to everyone in the arena and Henry's mom who then give slapped him.

Whats to like about RVD? His offense is shit, can't cut a promo worth the paycheck he's issued, and half-ass' his matches whenever he's booked to lose, and it's not too hard to figure that patern out.
