Guest MikeSC Report post Posted January 5, 2004 They have ADS THAT DIRECTLY COMPARE BUSH TO HITLER. They have ads where they use kids WAY too much to put out their message. I've lost every drop of respect I ever had for Jack Black as he is one of the judges for this crap contest. I want to see ANYBODY on the left defend this bilge. I'm sure idiots at pandagon.net (conservatives, check out the site --- FAR LEFT whackjobs) would love it --- but I'd like to believe that are leftists here are somewhat more sane. -=Mike drudgereport.com has a report on all of this. Styles 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 I actually would compare Dean with the way he uses "passionate" speeches to stir up a crowd and gain a following being more similar to Hitler, but that's neither here nor there. I'll have to check this out for a laugh though (or a cry).
treble 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 Which one's the Hitler one, since I'm stuck on dial-up and don't feel like looking through a bunch of ads trying to find that one. Thanks.
Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted January 5, 2004 Why is comparing someone to Hitler so wrong!? If I tell someone they hit the ball like Darrel Strawberry should they be offended?
BX 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 Oh look. Another "OMG LOOK AT THIS VILE SHIT" post. Who cares Mike, seriously? Should I go find webpage that proclaims Bush as a "soldier of Jesus Christ" and ask you to defend that? Everytime you find something like this on any two-bit website, you come running back here, and post something to the effect of, "Oh my fucking God, look at this. I told you they were insane. I feel dirty, and must now take a bath to rid myself of any potential terrorist notions I might have caught from this fucking pit of godlessness." Nobody cares. They are just extremists. I can give you 6-11 million reasons why, depending on which historical account you believe. Come on Tom, Bush is marching innocent Iraqis into death camps just like Hitler did the Jews! Can't you see? And the ZIONISTS~! in Israel are the Nazis now, slaughtering the innocent Palestinians at their will, as Herr Bush funds their atrocoties! God, I fucking hate these types.... First of all, I was being facecious. Second of all, the comment had to do with their similarities in being firy speakers able to elicit a loyal crowd respone, which is way more Dean's sepcialty than Bush's. Third of all, his family is irrelevant. Notice how they've stayed completly out of the spotlight? I dont blame them...

Guest Ghettoman Report post Posted January 5, 2004 For anyone, excuse me all of you who missed the point, take note to my analogy. I'm saying not everytime someone's compared to Hitler it means they were an evil dictator who tried to slaughter everyone he deemed unworthy and take over the word in the 1930's. I'm not justifying using it as pretty much a shit spoon to get the point across, but I hate how everytime there's a comparison raised or someone's said to of admired him for one reason or another everyone jumps out of there chair like a bomb went off. He was a person too, and had personality traits both good and bad. Of course he orchestrated one of the most gruesome happenings in the history of mankind, but that shouldn't deny what he was good at or something about him that was admirable. I thought we were all about taking the good from the bad in this world?
treble 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 Well, no one would ever admit it, but I'd be willing to bet that most politicians would kill to be half the public speaker Hitler was.

Obviously ads comparing Bush to Hitler are lame, stupid and just plain wrong, but damn MikeSC you have probably given this left wing extremist site more hits then any lefty on this board. moveon.org is the pet of George Soros --- you know, the left's Scaife (or, as Dick Morris puts it, "when comparing the two, just add a "zero" to the end of the money for Soros). It has a fairly large audience (VERY large audience) and will be a major player for the Democrats in 2004. It is also a breathing example of the problems those of us who opposed campaign finance reform stated. Well, the only real thing that came out of this is that I now will no longer watch Jack Black's movies. -=Mike
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 damn MikeSC you have probably given this left wing extremist site more hits then any lefty on this board. I think Drudge gave this a bit more publicity than Mike could. Why, Bush wants foreign visitors to be photographed and fingerprinted -- that's almost like gassing millions of Jews! Those wacky lefties. Sad thing is isn't Moveon.org a tax-exempt organization?...

Oh please. Soros doesn't have nearly the record that Scaife does. Unless you want to correct me, I don't think he funds media outlets like the American Spectator. I mean, sure, if you want, you can try to paint Soros out as a Scaife wannabe. But his record has been clean, donating to humanitarian causes, until he recently said that defeating Bush is his mission in life. Scaife's been playing the game for decades. And he's putting in more money than Scaife ever did. He's putting in untold millions into this campaign --- and if Dean wins, God knows for much power Soros will have in the gov't. And, let's be honest, a LOT of "humanitarian causes" are just liberal causes with pretty terminology. -=Mike
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 And he's putting in more money than Scaife ever did. It's a good thing you caught me on the week when I'm reading the Franken book. From chapter 19 ("Who Created The Tone?") In total, Scaife's contribution to right-wing groups (more than a hundred of them) adds up to over $200 million dollars. Soros has spent $15 million. justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2004 Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but wasn't it Himmler's doing that began the Hollocaust? I was under the impression that Hitler merely wanted the Jews to be in a state of servitude within the concentration camps, then he went to Himmler and said that something had to be done about the "storage problem", leaving Himmler and his secretary (Heidenreich?) to come up with the plan. At least, that's the way that I remember it. I could be entirely wrong, but the way I remember learning it was that Hitler wasn't the one who orchestrated the deaths of 6-11 million Jews. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 was this ad a part of the Bush in 60 seconds contest? I *had* heard about that. ie, normal people made ads and sent them in? It's kind of a shame, because I went to the stie and looked at some other videos that people made and submitted, and had to admit there were some creative and funny ones (i like the ones with little kids "what i would do as president"), but now they are all going to be screwed thanks to them putting up the hitler ad.
