teke184 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 It's about 40F here in Louisiana during the day and 20F at night, although the wind-chill's a bitch at my office considering it's on the river and two buildings next door just got demolished, making the walk to work feel like a wind tunnel. Oh, BTW... 40F with 100% humidity fucking SUCKS, even though it's not below 0 like in the Great White North. Canadians and people from Idaho and Montana are talking about how cold it is at work. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Looks like we're actually going into another Ice Age, possibly. Global Warming is a fine, fine crock of shit. Did you watch that stupid movie on USA Network yesterday morning.."Ice" I think it was called. I found a quick synopsis: The sun suffers some technical difficulties, and the interruption of service causes the entire continent of North America to freeze to death. Can a square-jawed sergeant and his plucky posse survive the storms and defeat the dastardly Slavic scientist in their flight to freedom? Yeah, it was bad. I especially liked the part where they find a couple in a bank nearly frozen to death surrounded by stacks of $100 bills. "We never thought to burn the money".. Hoff 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 True story: I live in Minneapolis, more or less. Yesterday I went out to my car. I had accidentally left a full can of Pepsi out there overnight. It exploded. I went to clean it up and when I touched the can, it froze to my thumb. Not my tongue...my fucking THUMB. Fuck this cold. I can deal with snow, love snow. This shit can kiss my ass. Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 So what's BC? The neutral, hippy, pot-lovin' province? You guys are kinda like the cool dude that just hangs out and smokes weed, but everybody secretly hates you because you have it very well off in B.C (I'd move there in a heartbeat to get away from ON). Ontario is definetly the USA of Canada. We're bastards like that.

Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 I had to turn on the air conditioner yesterday. But it wasn't too hot, pretty comfortable. No wonder Southern California is so overcrowded, people are getting sick in living in those frozen cesspools in the northeast.
