Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Alright, I was rearended by my old computer teacher this morning, so my memory might be hazy. If I feel like it, I'll go more detailed tomorrow. Velocity: Bradshaw vs. The Man The Myth The Legend FERTIQ~! Bradshaw wins with the Clothesline. Kidman beats Sakoda with the SSP Rhyno beats Funaki with the Gore. TWGTT beat Spanky and Paul London with TWGTTWGTTM (The World's Greatest Tag Team's World's Greatest Tag Team Move) And what could top that? Matt Morgan beats Shannon Moore with the Powerbomb Smackdown: Kurt Angle gets a reluctant Eddy/Chavo reunion Benoit wins a mini-Rumble against the FBI Main event announced: Holly vs Big Show Big Show interview. He holds the US Title! ...I should've kept notes... Rey beats Akio after a 2x619 to Akio/Sakoda and West Coast Pop. Rikishi and Scotty come out to face the Bashams, but Kurt has is changed to Eddy/Chavo against the Bashams. They retain, and Chavo takes a seat outside as they beat down Eddy. Chave then attacks Eddy and makes him bleed. A-Train comes out and we're getting sick of the show. Luckily, John Cena comes out and cuts a nice rap and beats Train with the FU. There are no backstage segments save for Kurt appologizing to Eddy. Its late by now and I'm tired and my head hurts, so we left. I'm assuimg Brock returned and beat up Holly in the "main event". Guys, I hate these suck, but I've had the longest day and worst headache ever. They'll get posted eventually. If I remember something...hell, you'll have it by then. haVoc 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Rue came out and did a horrible rendition of America The Beautiful...she was completely off key. Where is Lilian Garcia when you need her? Velocity/Smackdown Possible Dark Match Bradshaw def Kevin Fury. Out came Josh Matthews and Bill Demott. Billy Kidman Def. Sakoda. Rhino Def Funaki via the Gore. The World's Greatest Tag Team Def. Paul London and Spanky. Matt Morgan Destroyed Shannon Moore (With the exception of a small pop for Bradshaw the crowd was completely dead thus far.) End of Velocity Smackdown begins and out comes Kurt Angle, which starts a huge USA chant as Kurt acknowleges the many men and women in uniform. He calls out Chavo Guererros to try to get him to apologize to Eddie....out comes Eddie to a pretty nice pop and goes after Chavo but Kurt Angle comes him down and gets the Guererros to shake hands....... end of segment. Chris Benoit comes to the ring and as the ring announcer was about to announce the opponent, Paul Heyman comes out and reiterates how Chris Benoit will be the unlucky # 1 in the Royal Rumble Match and then announces that Chris will have a mini-Royal Rumble where he will go against all 3 members of the FBI Chris won the Mini Royal Rumble by eliminating: Johnny Stamboli ....Nunzio.... Chuck Palumbo (In that order). Next Rey Mysterio def Akio in a non-title match. The next match was to be Rikishi and Scotty vs. the Bashams for the Tag Belts but the Bashams jumped Rikishi and Scotty before the match and that match never happened. Kurt Angle came out and said that since the fans paid to see a title match, they should get one and announced that Los Guererros would get the shot. The Bashams def. Los Guererros when Chavo got pinned. After the match, The Bashams beat up Eddie while Chavo sat and watched. When the Bashams left the ring, Chavo seemed as if he was about to help Eddie when HE FINALLY TURNED ON EDDIE. Beating him until he started to bleed. ...Chavo left to a loud chorus of Boos. Next, John Cena came out to the loudest pop of the night and defeated A-train with the FU. Next was supposed to be a cruiserweight match between Tajiri and Jaime Noble to determine the number one contender to Mysterio's title. Noble was nowhere to be found and Paul Heyman said if Noble did not show up that Nidia would have to take his place. She did and lost to Tajiri. After the match, Tajiri started hitting Nidia and Rey Mysterio made the save. As mysterio was helping Nidia down the aisle, Noble showed up and pushed Mysterio down on the ground. Next ...Brock Lesnar came down to do commentary for the next match, which saw Hardcore Holly defeat the Big Show in a Non-Title Street fight. During the match, Holly attacked Lesnar, which the Big Show broke up. After the match, Holly went after Lesnar again. Lesnar ran through the crowd. End of Show The crowd was nowhere as near as HOT as it was when Raw came a couple of months ago and it was overall pretty boring with just a few bright spots. Note: No Torrie, No Sable. That pissed many people off Loudest Pop 1 John Cena 2. Eddie Guererro 3. Kurt Angle /Benoit Tied Biggest Heat 1. Chavo (when he turned heel) 2. Paul Heyman 3. Big Show Credit: 1wrestling.com
humongous2002 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 SD sucks ass, the only watchable things from that show are Eddy and Cena's promos(because his wrestling is still "wack"), Lesnar as a champion bores the shit out of me.

Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted January 7, 2004 (edited) *5* matches on Velocity? I can see 1 or 2 of them getting cut (Bradshaw/Fertig hopefully). Yeah, I'm pretty sure that one's the dark match one. *crosses fingers and smiles because it's Twatshaw and he's not on TV this week* EDIT: One more thing to add: During the match, Holly attacked Lesnar, which the Big Show broke up. After the match, Holly went after Lesnar again. Lesnar ran through the crowd. *click* Edited January 7, 2004 by Mulatto Heat

haVoc 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Man. What's the point of giving the Big Show the title if he's never going to defend the damn thing? Still doesn't make much sense, but maybe they think when Show does finally defend it he'll lose it and it will mean more?

Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Is this whole Big Show title reign supposed to be some kind of inside joke amongst Vince and Co.? Enough is fuckin enough. Oh, and NM: Is that AmDrag quote from a shoot interview or something? 'Cause it's pretty boss.
Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted January 7, 2004 What gets me is, why all of these non-title fights? Would it hurt Show to actually defend the title even if he didn't lose it?
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Maybe it does and that's why he won't defend it. *Pictures an emotional-powerhouse of an angle with Big Show cutting a teary eyed promo about how he doesn't quite feel "big" anymore and needs the title to help him feel like a true man.* Insecure Big Show = ratings.
