Guest drdrainoscott Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I always say, and I'm sure no one else ever uses this line, "THE LIBYIANS!!!!!" from Back to the Future. Whenever I see a Volkswagen Bus, I have to scream that line.
Guest The Midnight Rocking Warrior Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Pretty much anything Agent Sands said in once upon a time in Mexico.
DMann2003 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 The Princess Bride For some reason I've always loved the line from L.A Confidential- "This one's for ours pancho!"
Tully316 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Tombstone: "Why Ed Bailey...we cross? You know Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend, I just don't think I could bear it!" - Doc Holiday Swingers PCU Predator
Mole Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 My friend Joe and I quote Family Guy all the time. My sig is one of the funniest quotes of all time.
CanadianChris Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 The Princess Bride, The Life Of Brian and Monty Python And The Holy Grail are all favourites of mine.
Lil' Bitch Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 All of Sgt. Hartman's lines from Full Metal Jacket
Corey_Lazarus Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and 2 (COMBAT COLDCUTS), Ghostbusters, and Commando are favorites. Especially the part in Commando when Arnie is fighting Bill Duke in the motel room... **Bill Duke picks up his revolver and aims it at Arnold's head.** Bill: Fuck you, asshole. **Bill pulls the trigger, but the chamber is empty.** Arnold: Fuck YOU, asshole. Ah, Commando has so many AWESOME lines... **Arnold throws pipe through Bennet's chest and into the water heater.** Arnold: Let off some steam, Bennet! **The camera cuts back to Bennet, and pans out as blood drips from his mouth, and steam shoots out of the pipe.**
Mrnoitaull Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Friday after Next, sadly enough "WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH COMPETITION WITH ME ?!" "I'm not p^ssy whipped, I whips the p^ssy" " YOU AINT NO PLAYA"
Nighthawk Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 My sig is one of the funniest quotes of all time. Ironic that there's a typo in it then. Happy Gilmore, even though I don't like it all that much. Usually when somebody says two words that rhyme with may, I'll finish that scene. Also Ghostbusters, "Back off man, I'm a scientist." being a favorite. The most though is Robocop. Practically every line in it. "Bitches leave." probably gets used the most.
NYU Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Whoa. No one's mentioned the "You talkin to me?" line from Taxi Driver. May be the line most copied from a movie ever.
NYU Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Also, I've been known to borrow this quote from Goodfellas from time to time. "But, I'm funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you? I make you laugh? I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What is so funny about me? What the FUCK is so funny about me? Tell me. Tell me what's funny."
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Tombstone: He's so drunk he can't even shoot straight. ::Doc Holliday whips out 2 guns:: That's why I've got 2 guns, one for both of you.
Guest stardust Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Princess Bride is probably the one I quote from the most (thus the sig/avatar/custom title combo I have going on right now and should maybe change sooner or later).
Vyce Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 When frustrated and/or confused, I pull out "What the hell does that mean? I don't even know what the hell that means!" from Big Trouble in Little China. I can pretty much do the entire movie, as I've seen it about 75 times. I can also do just about every line by Ermey in FMJ as well.
notJames Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 The three I quote the most: Breakfast Club When Harry Met Sally Pulp Fiction Honourable mention: Any Kevin Smith film Princess Bride Swingers Sling Blade Reservoir Dogs
2GOLD Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 The Princess Bride, The Life Of Brian and Monty Python And The Holy Grail are all favourites of mine. RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!
Stephen Joseph Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Usual Suspects Final Speech "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist..." "And just like that, he's gone"
C Dubya 04 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Caddyshack is quoted every single time I set foot on a golf course. And a lot of other miscellaneous times.
nl5xsk1 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Revenge of the Nerds is far-and-away the movie that my friends and I quote the most often e.g.: "you got your asses kicked by a bunch of g*ddamn nerds. NERDS!!!" ... "fireball, fireball, fireball" ... "she's not that kind of girl, Booger" "why, does she have a penis?" ... "this is bullshit, pan down - We've got bush" ... sadly, I could keep going and going. Like, literally half the movie has slipped into our everyday lexicon. Honorable mentions: Slapshot, Strange Brew, and the original Danzig home video. (although I'm unsure if that last one counts as a movie perse)
Guest Razor Roman Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I always say, and I'm sure no one else ever uses this line, "THE LIBYIANS!!!!!" from Back to the Future. Whenever I see a Volkswagen Bus, I have to scream that line. Back to the Future is my most quoted movie ever. "What the hell is a gigawatt?" And I swear to God, if a bald man would ever call me a slacker, I'd crap myself with laughter. Other quotables - Office Space, Saving Silverman, Kevin Smith, Roger Rabbit, A Hard Day's Night
Guest Razor Roman Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Caddyshack is quoted every single time I set foot on a golf course. And a lot of other miscellaneous times. How'd you like to mow my lawn? ::Ted Knight Laugh::
The Tino Standard Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I like the guy on the Yankees in Major League... "How are your wife and my kids?"
WrestlingDeacon Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 My favorite Major League quote, that I use anytime I have to put someone on hold on the phone. "Can I get back to you on that, I have a guy on the other line about a set of white walls."
nl5xsk1 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I actually forgot one, but didn't think it would have made sense to edit it into my previous post. Anytime me and one of my friends leaves the country, we do the scene from Spies Like Us where they throw their hands up and say "we're Americans" and then get strung up by their ankles. One of the few funny scenes in a horrid, horrid movie.
Ted the Poster Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Most of my favorites have been said already, but what the hell. The Princess Bride "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Oh, and the whole "your ears you keep" speech. Awesome. Monty Python and the Holy Grail "Well let me go back and face the peril." "No, it's too perilous." Family Guy "You know what I got for Christmas? It was a banner freakin' year at the Tiger house. I got a pack of cigarettes. My dad said smoke 'em up Tony; they're grrrreat!" Quagmire: "Hey, maybe we should set Peter up with another lemon snowcone." Peter: "No thanks. That last one you gave me didn't even taste like lemon. It tasted like... oh, you guys are asses." Caddyshack "Na na na na na na na na..." Sometimes I just say that while standing in line for something. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back "Snootch to tha nooootch!" But the movie I quote the most from has to be Coming to America. "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, who's next?" "The royal penis is clean your highness." Damn, that is one of the funniest movies ever.
Guest Eric the Eagle Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Ah, Coming To America... -"GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!" *(random person off the street) "Fuck You!!!!!" -"YES! YES! FUCK YOU TOO!!!" Otherwise, there is nothing to beat the Princess Bride. I think I could quote most of the film. "You keep saying hat word. I do not think it means what you think it means." "INCONCEIVABLE!!!" "What about the ROUS's?" "The Rodents Of Unsusual Size?" (Oh, how I laughed when someone quoted that in Fallout 2...) And, of course, there's the original Highlander... "Hi... I'm Candy." "Of course you are..." "I am in disguise... this way no one will recognize me" And the brilliant, brilliant British series " 'Allo 'Allo" "It is I, LeClerc! I am in disguise!" "Good Moaning!" "Listen closely; I shall say this only once!" "You stupid woman!!!!"
Mole Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 My sig is one of the funniest quotes of all time. Your point?
WrestlingDeacon Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 In Coming to America I love the whole Randy Watson bit and all the barbershop stuff. "You may know him as Joe the Policeman from the What's Goin' Down episode of That's my Mama, Jackson Heights own Randyyyyyy Waaaaaaaaaatsooooooooooonnnn!" "One time I had Frank Sinatra in this chair. I said Frank, how old Joe Louis. He say, Joe Lous...137 years old." "You ain't never met no Frank Sinatra." And my favorite from the movie and one of my all time favorites from anything. I say it when I'm at a total loss for words "It's a damn shame what they did to that dog."
mw679 Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 My bro and I quote "Tommy Boy" all the time. "Hey lady, you got a fat whale in your boat!" "Hey Gilligan, what did ya do, eat the skipper?" Farley: ""You better pray to the God of skinny punks that this wind doesn't pick up or I'll go over there and shove an oar up your ass!!" "Oh yeah, melted chocolate in the dash, that'll really up the re-sale value...." "I got totally douched in mud!" "Hey Chucko, that doesn't smell like mud...." We also quote one of Steven Segal's older flicks, I think it's "Hard to Kill" Segal to guy in street: "Ay yo, Fucknuts!!!" To this day that's how my bro and I greet each other most of the time....
