EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Hey remember how some people would say that even thought a wrestler may not be getting a push he's still happy to just be in the WWE, "the big leagues" and to be making money. Well I guess that proves that wrong. Just because someone is in the WWE doesn't mean they are happy with the way they are being treated.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Could Dreamer get the ax from WWE? Jim Ross has been given the green light to eliminate any salaries that he feels aren't producing, which has raised tension among wrestlers. One guy who is said to be especially nervous about being fired is Tommy Dreamer. Credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter/
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted January 14, 2004 I love how people always wish the wrestlers quit to make a point. How many of you would quit a real job (not some part time sh*t) to make a point about how your fellow employees are being treated? niko

Slayer 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Remember the "Paul London joins WWE" thread where Dorkboy kept talking about how it was a good thing that he finally realized his dream, in spite of how everyone else predicted his potential misuse? This only helps to prove no good can come from young-up-and-coming cruisers joining the WWE

All I see right now is a bunch of mammoths running about going "Me big, me hurt you~!" while the true wrestlers are stuck in sketch comedy hell

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Nathan Jones was producing! He was producing milk for all the boys in the back. Remember that skit last year with Angle and Brock in the back drinking milk? Well it wouldn't have gone done had it not been for Nathan Jones
Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Man, it'd be hilarious if about 90% of the roster just walked out...hell, it'd be a great moment if it happened right before a live Raw or something. -Patrick
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 No it wouldn't cause then we'd have nothing but, two hours of HHH, Mark Henry, and HHH shoot interview on all the people walking out.

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 So much for the whole "wrestler A doesn't care because they're living their dream" crap! I knew that eventually someone would say "this aint my dream...this is a nightmare" and just leave.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Odds are since he wasn't working main shows, his pay might have been much lower and he figured he could make more in Japan and get more respect than in the WWE. This will allow Vince to hire Tony Horris to return.

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2004 Let's hope Spanky also goes back to ROH where he belongs and can flourish, as well as Zero-One. As much as I'm saddened not to see him week in week out, him being one of my favourite wrestlers at the moment, I'm glad to see someone doing what they think is right for them rather than stick it out because 'The WWE is as high as you can go'. Pity he had to put up with what he did before realising it though. Hopefully this'll teach any other cruisers who may have deluded expectations of their prospects *coughUltimoDragoncough*.
