I know i'm going to sound kind of shallow, but i'm not going to buy any of their CDs. Part of the appeal of AI for me is seeing fine looking young women scantily clad and singing. This was a tough, tough group to break out of, so hopefully that will be recognized in picking wild card contenders. Matt Metzger must have captured some of the teenybopper girl vote or something, because I thought that he was one of the worst of the bunch. The main problem with the AI voting system is that it's not always about who's best, it can be about who you like and how many times you can get through to vote for them. And Kelly's pretty hot to......and how could they not recognize the talent she had!? Metzger moved on!? I haven't watched last nights episode(i watched tuesdays) so this is a shock to me. Bullshit. That guy sucked. The only one that sucked worst was that girl that Simon said should be in a rodeo. So let me get this straight......Fantasia and Metzger moved on? BS! Fantasia was good but you didn't have to vote her through people! She was going to get the record contract without even having to move on! Simon pretty much offered it to her on the show! He said those other people needed the competition and he was right! You screwed them America! Katie because she sang very very well and looks the part of pop star, plus she reminds me of Charisma Carpenter. Matt because he sang well and mugged so perfectly for the cameras. Just remember, the top 3 last year were a big female, a stringbean, and a big black dude who looked like he could keel over at any second. It's worth noting that all three judges WANTED Fantasia and, um, Bret Hart fan(forgot her name, I'll use that for lack of a better description) to advance (noted after voting was done), and they did. They were also the two that got the best comments from the judges. Now, I don't want to say that the judges were subconciously manipulating the voters, but I thought that shooting down the "safe" songs really hurt the other singers, and it's not like they were bad. Wow, Camile was ok...didn't really blow me away but I was routing for her in this group. Lisa same thing...couldn't care less if she goes through or not. Most likely she will go through though. I'm really glad that the football player, nasty ass Bre and the Roman Brothers were bad because I have a feeling that AI may have manipulated the votes. The Roman Brothers only because they could play the whole Brother Vs Brother card. Bre because she is just Bre. Football Player because he is a football player who can sing ok. I'd guarantee you that had Katie (Bouncy) Weber been told that she was finalist material and Fantasia not that Katie would be through and not wondering if she was a wild card entry.
