More WWE Workers To Be Sent To OVW

WWE to give some workers more training...

WWE has decided to send a lot of their workers who currently do not work house shows down to OVW for further training or to help train other wrestlers. The likely wrestlers that will be sent down are Kanyon, Jacqueline, Ivory, Sean O'Haire, and Stamboli.

Kanyon and Ivory????

WHAT?!?!

Does Kanyon and Ivory need to learn how to work?

Unless they are becoming trainers down there, they are so fired by the end of this month.

Shit, Jacqueline is still employed?

I take it as being obvious that Ivory, Jackie and Kanyon are going to be trainers (with the Tough Enough and "I trained Jay Leno" connections) and SoH and Stamboli are being trained, but why the hell not send down some of the other non-pushed green wrestlers. I'm sure Velocity fans can cope without Orlando Jordan or Matt Morgan for a month or two

I'm guessing Kanyon and Ivory will be trainers. Afterall Ivory was a trainer on TE and I know Kanyon did some training in WCW I think he even trained Jay Leno for his match.

But, I have a feeling that if Kanyon is being sent down there to work it's to know how to wrestle WWE style.

IIRC, Kanyon trained Leno and Rodman, possibly Arquette.

WTF?

Why is Kanyon being sent down to OVW? If WWE knew what they were doing, they could make a star out of him, but of course they are idiots. Maybe he will get fired, go to TNA, and do something over there.

And O'Haire to OVW? And he told me he was getting pushed...

Orlando just needs to come out doing Cat-bo and team him with Ernest.

Cat-bo = ratings

Well Smackdown does need a new face team....

Is it just me or does Jordan look like a lizard?

I always thought he looked more like Billy Blanks or whatever that Tai-bo guys name is.

Well, at least there's a bit of good news to go with the usual bad news.

Ha-ha! O'Haire sucks! He sucks so bad even WWE won't push him for a while.

Now would possibly be a good time for Kanyon to pull a Spanky and stick it to WWE for sure. The last thing I want to see is Kanyon pulling out chinlocks every match to Christian levels.

Maybe they're getting sent to Ovary W.

Is that near Nipple H?

I don't think it is "sticking it" to them if they don't care. However, it's really a shame. Thankfully, they didn't pair him with Jackie Gayda, but at least Rico is on TV regularly.

I don't see how creative could have nothing to do for him. Despite the lisp (which could be easily fixed up), the guy has tons of ability, natural charisma, and he's kinda tall (6'3" ain't he?). He could easily make a half-decent gimmick work.

The guy also was able to be in matches with Glacier and the Cat and make them enjoyable. That alone deserves a medal.

The main thing I don't get about the Kanyon depush was his depature. If I recall correctly, the crowds and the offices loved him, but he got hurt. He was having some decent profile matches. Then, he just never came back, or came in as a joke situation. I know there's the "don't let WCW guys succeed" thought, however, as far as I remember, he was over and the office like him too.

If they let Lita within 50 yards of a live mic, they shouldn't have any problem letting Kanyon have promo time.

There's no reason Kanyon shouldn't be a mid-card fixture on either show. He's got everything the WWE would want in a midcarder: good size, can wrestle, can talk, is comfortable on camera, great bumper, can do comedy, and has cool moves to pop the crowd.

Didn't they say that about Stamboli and the rest of the FBI about six months ago? And yet it still hasn't happened.

He isn't homegrown, though. :( That's the only reason I can see for why they won't push him.

Well, I guess also that he isn't very good looking (like that matters when he'd probably be playing a heel anyway), but that never stopped them from making Kane a perennial upper midcarder. The Mortis mask would take care of that. :D

Maybe they'll wait to send them down until Taker comes back and makes them famous again.

Lita has tits and a vagina, so that explains that.

 So let me get this straight...

In 2000, WCW pushed a green Sean O'Haire. During that time, O'Haire became very recognizable to WCW fans and got over to some degree.

In 2001, WWF purchases WCW. In the summer, O'Haire and Palumbo show up as the WCW tag champs and quickely lose the belts and are squashed. O'Haire disappears to OVW.

In 2002, O'Haire shows up for some appearances on Heat, where the commentators say things like "This is the Sean O'Haire that we've been hearing so much about." After some nice little matches, I believe O'Haire was either injured (or was that Jindrak) and found himself back in OVW either way...

In 2003, some neat promos begin to air for Sean O'Haire pretty much playing the role of the little Satan who sits on your shoulder and gives bad advice. The promos are original and entertaining and I became excited that O'Haire was on his way to the main roster. He makes a handful of appearances as this character, most notably advising Spanky to streak around the Smackdown arena.

O'Haire finally makes a real debut as the errand boy of Roddy Piper. Rather than develop his character, he follows Piper around and has a sucky match with Rikishi at Backlash. Piper leaves the WWE and O'Haire is instantly depushed.

Now in 2004, O'Haire is back in OVW

Speaking of homegrown talent is anyone else shocked at how much Vince loves Ernest Miller. I mean think about Miller got a big push in WCW cause he was best friends with Eric and he was his sons karate teacher and he was fairly high profile.

You would think that would be enough for Vince not to sign him or at least job him out but, yet Vince loves him and gives him mic time. Out of ALL the things from WCW that Vince could loved he had to fall in love with Miller's act.

You sure about that? I'm gonna need to see some evidence.

On second thoughts, I'd rather not.

Doesn't prove a thing mate. Some builder over here in England had a boob job a couple of years back for a bet. And even his baps looked better than Lita's.
