Anyone hear the crowd pop

Ernest Miller needs Sonny Ono out there with him.

The best Japanese manager since Mr. Fuji and Vince won't give him the money to come over

Seriously, when a tables match goes five minutes, and involves exactly one person going through a table, that doesn't exactly fill a crowd with anticipation.

The crowd absolutely KILLED the show tonight. It was mediocre for sure, but when the only guy they got behind beside HBK the whole night was a bait and switched 'Undertaker', then it's not a good sign. I expected better from Philly to be honest.

And let me go on record...The Cat may be unover...but Benoit trying to throw Lamont out of the ring, only for his wig to come off and Lamont's reaction...that beats Hurricane's Double Chokeslam attempt in '02 for best Rumble moment EVER. That was sadly about the best thing on the entire show.

Get Scott Norton to beat him up every week on velocity like he did in 99 and i'll be happy.

I thought that we popped pretty loud for Angle eliminating Goldberg. When the table match ended after only D-Von went through, everyone around me was pissed and there was some boos.

I guess everyone had their T.V.s muted because the crowd was reacting for some of the top guys in the rumble (Angle got a pop that everyone ignores, Cena did, RVD got a decent sized reaction etc. etc.). For some reason you can see everyone go happy when Benoit wins, but you can't hear them. Odd. (Rewatches, sees people jump up and down...no audio) THE HELL?!

Funny story time

Back in 1998 when Rey Mysterio Jr was going through his giant killer phase and before he went on to face Kevin Nash he faced Scott Norton, on the Monday Nitro where the first hour at home was Hogan and Nash degrating Ric Flair's father hood skills(We got some damn good first hour dark matches). So there I was, waiting for the right moment when the crowd settled down and it was quiet enough...and then I shouted it "Kill the fucking midget Norty" and like 3 rows looked back at me while my father pulled me back into my seat and backhanded me upside the head. I went home and you can clearly here it on the tape. Ahhh great times

HHH disconnected the audio feed in the truck so he could point at the tv and say, "See Dad, not a sound. Benoit just isn't ready yet, let me give him the rub and he'll be ready in two or three years."

Random NWO B-Teamer: "Hey, Norton! Cat's talking smack about you."

Norton: "WHAT?!"

Then he chops and pounds the holy hell out of Miller...good times

I recall one time where Cat used a crowbar to get the win and all the nWo B Team left the dressing romm because they knew Norton was pissed.
