So much for Kidman/London tag team. Kidman wasn't even on the show. Don't tell me he got injured again?

And Brock isn't allowed to fire back at Triple H again.

But who should WGTT feud with after they beat ScottIshi? They should have built up a good babyface tag team (Rey/Kidman, why not?) and have them go over the Bashams after an actual feud. Then have Rey/Kidman vs WGTT for a while and build up Tajiri/Akio/Sakoda, Noble/Nunzio and London/Moore. It's not like the cruisers are that occupied with their own 'division'. They could have a pretty good tag division that way, it's not rocket science.

He beat Noble.

Uhhhhh... I don't know. God they should so turn WGTT so at least you could have feuds with the Bashams, FBI, and Tajiri Corp.

Actually its a pretty good move in my mind to get the belts off the heatless wonders that are The Bashams and get them to The Worlds Greatest Tag Team as quickly as humanly possible. Although I would actually prefer to just turn Haas and Benjamin face, I can see Rikishi and Scotty holding the belts for a week or two before losing them right away. I can't possibly imagine that WWE would keep the straps on those two for long. Granted I've been wrong before.

To be fair, the Bashams haven't had any feuds, save for a short program w/ Eddy/Chavo, which really only served to help break up the Guerreros. They have a match here & there, focus on Shaniqua, and that's it, so it's easy to see why they don't have any heat. I like the team, so it's a shame to see them just do a random job to drop the titles.

So, then I guess Rikishi/S2H drop the belts to WGTT, who then become a heel team w/ no challengers, just like the Bashams.

As for SD, usually the televised show comes off a lot better than the spoilers would seem to indicate, but I have a hard time seeing how this week's show could pull that off. This show just looks bad.

This is my arguement as to why RAW is better than Smackdown.

It's truly amazing, and I refuse to watch this streaming pile of dog shit untill they do something half decent SOON !

Last week's SD was heads & shoulders better than the last 2 Raw's.

- Rikishi and Scotty Too Hotty def. the Bashams to win the WWE tag-team

titles. Bashams were understandably pissed after the match, but no signs

of a break-up or anything. Rikishi won with a Samoan drop. Not sure

which Basham took the fall, but if one of them usually wears an elbow

pad and the other doesn't, then it was the one who doesn't wear one that

was pinned.

Why?!

- Cat def. Tajiri. The two dudes who come out with Tajiri attacked the

Cat, but Orlando Jordan made the save, and the Cat and Jordan danced.

The silence from the crowd was hard to overlook.

Why the fuck is Cat still employed? Bless you Cleveland for giving Cat the cold shoulder, though.

- Heyman and Cena made some FCC/Janet Jackson references in the locker

room. I missed part of what they said because of people moving around

near me, but whatever it was became moot later on.

- Tape of Austin offering his NWO ticket to Goldberg.

- Big Show def. Billy Gunn to retain the U.S. title. Time slowed to a

halt during this match. It didn't seem like it was going to end, but

crowd got into it for last 30 seconds.

*doesn't care*

- Chavo and Chavo Sr. talk with Heyman, who says Chavo will take on Rey

Mysterio at No Way Out. Chavo says he'll take Rey's mask if he wins.

Chavo Sr. will also face Rey during Smackdown.

- Eddie comes out to bask in the glory of his victory, but is

interrupted by Brock Lesnar. They trade insults, Eddie attacks, Lesnar

retreats, but leaves the belt. Eddie puts the belt on.

Sounds interesting...

- Kidman def. Noble when Nidia distracts Noble by throwing all the money

in his wallet into the crowd. Couldn't tell if the money was real.

I hate Kidman.

- Noble talks Heyman into a match against Nidia at No Way Out.

Why? So all this build to...Nidia vs. Noble? The hell?!

- Torrie and Sable are announced as the Playboy models, with a short

behind-the-scenes video.

*Couldn't care less*

Rey Mysterio def. Chavo Sr.

- Kurt Angle def. Hardcore Holly. Heyman comes out, and is about to

announce the No. 1 contender, but Big Show interrupts and comes to the

ring to plead his case. Then John Cena interrupts and Heyman makes a

Cena-Show-Angle match at No Way Out for the No. 1 contender spot. Cena

leaves, Heyman leaves, then Kurt and Show go nose to nose and and Kurt

slams Show. I would guess the show cuts off before Kurt slams Show

because they started swearing at that point.

Rey/Chavo Sr. could be a decent S.E. segment, but I have zero interest in Kurt/Holly. Good idea that they're building up a match, but I'm guessing this means that the winner faces the champ (Eddy?) at WM, right? I guess it'd have to be Show or Angle unless Cena turns heel again or they wanna do face vs. face.

Looks like an overall pointless show again.

I don't know about that, but you have to realize that Smackdown's roster has been completely destroyed.

Think about it

NO Edge

NO Undertaker

They LOSE Benoit and Hardy to Raw and get nothing in return.

I actually tried to come up with a card for No Way Out last week and the only match I could come up with, other than the three already announced, was Noble vs. Nidia.

Why? The Cat's been treated as a complete joke recently while Tajiri's been kept as a viable threat to the CW title (until now anyways). This is counterproductivity at it's most obvious.

When has Cat ever not been a joke?

Vince likes Cat...that's the only reason.

Hey, the NWO card doesn't look that bad:

Brock/Eddy and Rey/Chavo have an excellent chance of being good-great, and Angle/Show/Cena could be good too.

The Rumble card looked good on paper, too...

Not one match on Smackdown interests me outside of "US title gets defended" and "Can Kurt carry even Hardcore freaking Holly?" As for the actual matches... I'm just speechless.

The highlight of a 90 minute show appears to be Eddie Guerrero posing with the WWE title. Hopefully he was stealing it.

90 minute show?

Why not 2 hours this week?

I think he means that, sans commercials, the show clocks in at around 90 minutes.

Usually about 6-8 minutes out of every half-hour of TV is commercials. At least that's what I've seen with cartoon specials and stuff which are released on home video.

I'm calling it now. Bob Holly wins the US title next week from Big Show. Probably w/ Cena's help.

It's part of the WWE push. Lose the title match on PPV. Lose the main event on the TV show. Win the secondary title as a reward.

Anybody know if a theme song has been picked for NWO yet?

It's Rey Mysterio's song from the WWE Originals CD. "Crossing Borders".

Personally, I don't find the show to be bad. Sure, it's not the best, but I don't think it's the worst show ever. I'll defintley watch it this week. I defintely want to see Eddie Guerrero posing with the WWE Title. I think he will win the belt at No Way Out thanks to Goldberg's interference.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

How fucking sad is that? That ranks up there with 2002, when Shopzone was the sponsor.

Speaking of theme songs, I REALLY hope they don't have a nu-metal song be the theme song for WrestleMania XX. It's either the two old school WrestleMania theme songs (the one used from WrestleMania VI-VIII. Or the song that Linda McMahon comes out too), or a classical music song like the song that was used for the Sting vs. Hogan match at Starrcade 1997.

After, with Angle still in the ring Heyman enters and teases making Angle the #1 Contender at WMXX, then Big Show appears and makes his case for being the #1 Contender. Heyman is going to make a Big Show v. Angle Match at No Way Out for the number one spot when Cena appears to a huge pop and proceeds with a great rap.

Heyman says he has changed his mind and now its going to be Big Show v Kurt Angle v John Cena at No Way Out and the winner will be the number one contender and be in the match for the World Title at WMXX.

After the cameras were off, and Cena had already left, Angle told Heyman to leave the ring and proceeded to Angle Slam Big Show.

On the contrary...I'm betting that this all leads to a Stacy/Jackie vs. Sable/Torrie match at Mania.

Which I said last week when Stacy came out to hold up Jackie's hand. And it'll be a bra and panties match I'm sure.
