MCMAHON TO DROP A BOMBSHELL, REKINDLE MONDAY NIGHT WAR

Feb. 23, 2004

The Monday Night War may have ended several years ago, but it seems that one battle never did. On RAW, that battle will happen when Mr. McMahon will go one on one with RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff! The battle will take place moments after Mr. McMahon makes a bombshell announcement concerning WrestleMania XX. What will the news be? What will happen when Bischoff-McMahon finally happens? Watch RAW to find out!

Also, last week, Evolution suffered perhaps its worst night ever when Ric Flair & Batista lost the World Tag Team Championship to Rob Van Dam & Booker T, and later, it was announced that Triple H will defend the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX in a history making Triple Threat Match with Shawn Michaels & Chris Benoit. Will there be a reaction? What is next for this foursome? Tune in to RAW and find out!

Speaking of Evolution, the trio of Flair, Batista and Randy Orton unleashed a savage beating on Mick Foley after Foley entered the ring for what was supposed to be an Unsanctioned Fight with Orton. The attack left Foley hospitalized. Will Foley have a response? Find out on RAW!

All of this and more at 9/8 CT on Spike TV!

--------

Somehow, I think Foley will get beat around like usual. The announcement will have to do with Goldberg, and Bischoff-Vince won't happen. Joy.

Exactly what is the reasoning behind this Foley/Orton feud?

The way they are building it is the classic 'face is murdered every night until the PPV when he finally fights back and prevails'. However, everyone knows Orton is already winning this, therefore they are making the following mistakes:

A) Making Orton look like someone who cannot beat Foley on his own

B) Foley to be a fucking retard who will walk into a set up EVERY WEEK

C) A scenario that will ultimately end in the crowd turning on both guys

It is all *so stupid* and I've almost gored my own brains out with a fork just trying to find logic in it all.

As for RAW: I seriously hope Vince shocks me tonight, however I think it is quite apparent that he will announce the first RAW vs Smackdown! match for Wrestlemania XX. I'd love Vince to reveal something huge that I didn't see coming, but that would require him to be creative and unpredictable.

That must have flew right over my head last week because I don't remember them saying that was a match. I thought Vince's anouncement had something to do with Bischoff?

Oh well, still looking forward tonight. I'm starting to get back into the Jericho/Trish storyline now Christian is more envolved. Victoria in hot pants is good enough for me.

Hey, maybe Benoit will get the upper hand for once tonight?

P.S. I really want to like the Foley/Orton feud, but I could really careless. Save this feud Rocky!

You know I would love to see Bischoff beat Vince tonight. That would be so nice.

You just know Eric is gonna job to Vince. Why, because Vince now owns Bischoff, and he wants his revenge for all those times Eric pissed him off on Nitro.

I'll be happy as long as his big announcement is the super shocking Goldberg vs Lesnar that absolutely no one knew was happening in November...

I fear that his announcement, or second announcement, will be "And this is what I will look like in just 20 days when it is Vince McMahon in one corner and in the other corner of this very ring... Eric Bischoff *pause for non-existant shock/reaction of any kind* But I said that we will see if Eric can kick my ass tonight, and I don't want to wait until Mania!" *Bisch no shows, and is ordered to be at Mania*

That's what I pretty much expect the announcment to be. Goldberg Vs Lesnar and Taker Vs Kane.

Maybe Vince will beat Bischoff and fire him only to bring back the Princess so she can be on WM? You know her return is long over due.

I'm kinda hoping for something totally off the wall for Bischoff/McMahon:

They put ownership of the WWE as well as the Raw General Managership on the line...and Bischoff pulls out a fluke win over McMahon.

Just to mix things up.

I'd like to see something "major" like that happen also. The WWE needs something like that to happen sometime in the near future, just to get people really talking again. Something that will shake up the wrestling industry, and something that actually leads to something that much more major.

Maybe not exactly what was mentioned, but I do think something needs to go down pretty soon.

Actually, Bischoff as co-owner of wwe storyline wise would be nice. Think of it, there'd be no more of that bullshit wwe board of directors and Linda McMahon coming down and cutting him off at the knees everytime he's get a leg up for more than a week. God forbid that Austin be outsmarted by someone that is actually smarter than him.

Along these lines, I came up with a theory about why McMahon keeps both Bischoff and Heyman employed...

He has a deep down, secret fear that if they weren't under his payroll, they'd join together and work to make a new wrestling organization that could compete with WWE again.

I wish we could go back in time, and have Heyman/Bishoff both a part of the Invasion storyline when it first started.

I wouldn't mind some sort of angle, where Bishoff and Heyman are only working for Vince right now, so that they could somehow gain ownership from Vince, one way or another.

That would be interesting...

But...storyline wise...Heyman and Bischoff hate each other, as evident from the Royal Rumble where the tried kicking each others' asses.

So Vince "fires" them from the big shows and exiles them to the weekend shows of Velocity & Confidential but the guys don't play by the rules and cancel second rate shows to make their own promotion. So all of the regular wrestlers who do nothing but Velocity and Heat would now be employed by Bishoff and Heyman. So now WWE would have three 2 hour brand shows on Monday, Thursday, and the Saturday.

Er, I meant real life terms, not storyline terms. ^^;

I can tell you exactly where this goes. We haven't had a fans should be sympathetic of Vince angle in a while. I tell you what happens..

Linda comes down and costs Vince the match vs Bischoff. Linda says how she was tired of seeing Vince parade around with Sable on Smackdown (which he hasn't done in a while, but still) and if he can parade around with a younger woman, she can parade around with a younger man. Vince asks who that man is, and then right then Bischoff grabs Linda and kisses her and they walk off with Vince going nuts in the ring.

That really means nothing if they really wanted to do it. Before Rocky joined Vince he was kicking his ass every now and then. Vince said he did so just to trick everyone, blah blah blah.

Or if they really wanted, they could come up with an angle where Bishoff and Heyman BOTH wanted WWE, but was not working with one another and didn't know that the other had the exact same plans. Since eventually Vince would get ownership back from the two, they could use the conflict between Bishoff/Heyman as a reason why neither one could accomplish their exact same goal.

Or they could do an angle where they both want the same thing, and once they realize that they are both wanting to destory Vince, they could decide to team up together in order to accomplish the goal that they both share. Vince McMahon did put them both out of business, or so we're led to believe, so they could use that common bond between the two to get them to work together. The could then form their own group, perhaps the rumored late night show, and both be the owner of that company.

Then you have the possiblity where you could have Heyman and Bishoff always running their mouth off at Vince, saying how they are so much better than he is, hey could have defeated him if (whatever) happened or didn't happen, and Vince eventually gets tired of it so much, that he releases them from their GM posistions and tell them that he's sick of them doing just talk, and if they really think they can do it then they can have the late night slot to prove it to him. Make it so that if they don't actually get succesfull doing that together, Bishoff/Heyman, that they will be fired if they fail at creating a new succesfull "company".

Just something to make things really really interesting. We already have Benoit/Eddie in pretty damn good posistions and guys like Brock who looks to be improving all of the time, add a great new angle to the mix and WWE could be well on it's way to entering another boom.

Bold Prediction: Vince wins by count-out when Bischoff doesn't show up to the arena.

Actually thats a forfeit. A Count-out only can happen when the match actuslly starts with both men in the ring.

<<Predicts a lame cop-out.

BOLD Prediction of the Week: The Rock will....NOT be on RAW tonight

In this wacky world of wrestling, I've seen it be a count-out more than once.

When did Heyman ever have a company that competed with the WWF?

And, unless there are multimedia conglomerates with tons of money and a willingness to get soaked for a few years, I doubt Vince would seriously worry himself.

Remember, EB WASN'T under contract for over a year after WCW closed.

...I guess he could try that Ring Rats fed thing again

I don't think Vince is afraid of Bishoff/Heyman at all in real life. To him, he already crushed them both, he's won and that's the end of it.

And that's the thinking of a SANE person.

But McMahon, I believe, is LONG GONE from 100% sanity.

That' sjust my opinion though.
