Gary Floyd Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 Infected-7/10. Here's an interesting, but ultimately flawed Japanese Horror film. It's very atmospheric, and quite gory. However, it doesn't really make any sense, and the ending is a bigger cop-out thatm the ending to "High Tension". A good horror film, but far from perfect.
DCMaximo Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Three Men And A Baby-7/10 Even though Selleck, Guttenberg and Danson aren't "three of Hollywood's hottest stars" as the box claims, somehow I still really like this film, no matter how dated it is and how tacked on the heroin sub-plot feels
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Bonus DVD with performance from Skatefest 2004, amping me up for Warped Tour 7/10
Gary Floyd Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 Kung Fu Hustle-10/10. You guys were right, this movie is all kinds of awesome. I loved almost every second of it. Definately one of the years best. Hell, it probably is the years best, or at least so far.
Garth Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 Usual Suspects - First time I've ever watched this film and I was really impressed. It's always been hyped up to me and I thought it might not live up to it but boy did it. 9/10

Gary Floyd Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 In the last two to three days, I've watched Bad Moon (5.5/10) A intersesting, though in the end, flawed werewolf film from the man who wrote "The Hitcher" and directed "Body Parts" Body Melt (7.5/10) Not perfect, but enjoyable Aussie gore flick with a family of inbred retards, an exploding penis, an overly swollen tongue, a guy drinking liquid detergent, and much more. This movie has more vomit and mucus than any other film I've seen so far. The guys who did the make up and gore fx also worked on "Matrix Reloaded" and Peter Jacksons "Dead Alive". Office Space (10/10) Everyone knows what this movie is.
Si82 Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (8/10) My second favourite Wes Anderson film, right behind Bottle Rocket. A fantastically put together comedy. Bill Murray is great in the lead role but, for me, Willem Dofoe is man.
BlackFlagg Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 The Dirty Dozen - 8/10 Sin City - 9.5/10
Mole Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 The movies I've seen in the past few months or so. Wedding Crashers - B- - Fuckin funny movie, but loses points for being a romantic comedy and falling into formula. Fantastic Four - C+ - Standard action flick, nothing more, nothing less. Dukes of Hazzard - D- -Horrible movie. Straight up. Minority Report - C+ Not Another Teen Movie - C Finding Nemo - A+ - One of the very few A+ movies. The Aristocrats - B Signs - B A Beautiful Mind - A- Office Space - B+ Unbreakable - A-
