Bush exploits 9-11

Recommended Posts

I wonder if one day there will be a grand conspiracy theory that Bush knew that 9-11 was going to happen, ala FDR knowing about Pearl Harbor in advance...

actually Im sure the theory is already out there and I just havent cared to check it out...

Well, in 1996 we didn't have every idiot with broadband in his home and a video editing program.

I'm sure if the internet was as widespread and accessable.

And hey, even on today's internet, look hard enough through Google and you'll find the wacko you're looking for. And guess what can be found on that site, hmm?

Or another...

...Or another.

I always ger a kick out of that one picture with Al Gore taking money from a Tibetan monk.

Anyway, I think Bush should use 9/11 as someone said it defined his presidency.

Only the most insane of liberals compare him to Hitler, and as I've mentioned before, it's ridiculous and stupid

However, Clinton was labeled a communist on many occassions... and I honestly dont see how you can compare the hatred between the two presidents, seeing the Republicans were out to get Clinton since day one of his campaign, and couldnt STAND seeing him as successful... they attacked him from every angle, and in the end, he won, and the republicans went down in flames... until 2000 at least

Anyone remember when congressman Dan Burton called Clinton a "scumbag" ??

Yes, and boy was I sure offended.

A SCUMBAG? There's no place for such mean names...

It didnt offend me either... however, I guarantee you if a Democratic congressman called Bush a scumbag now, the entire republican base would be calling for his/her head

I can hear Sean Hannity now lol

In this case, there are two definitions

Definition two?

Mind numbing loss of jobs, staggering deficit, reckless spending, corporate scandals, a middle finger to the world, incompetency... oh and that pesky little situation in Iraq

Alright then, I'm going to sit back and let you explain to me how Democrats / liberals haven't felt the same way about Bush, or treated him any differently than the Republicans treated Clinton in the way you've stated they have.

Please, go ahead. It should be very amusing.

Bill Clinton's election wins over Bush 1 and Dole were without controversy. Bush got off to a shaky start because of the popular vote problems on the left.

Dems still havent called for impeachment of Bush over a sex act.

Vyce, you really should try to stop whining and blindly following the Republican spin. Thinking for yourself on these issues is very important...

Please SHUT UP! Seriously, you haven't ever established yourself as a "Free thinking Libertarian" that you say. You seem more of a Democratic tool than Terry McAuliffe. Christ...

*Waits to be called "Republican Tool" as well...*

Powerplay: Hah. And the funny thing is that all the "free thinking libertarians" I know are Republican tools, including the most consevative guy I've ever seen.

With all his spending I'm rather surprised myself...

"My fellow Americans, I have raised our nation's debt by millions and ended a term by wiping my ass with the Constitution, putting me in company with a number of great Presidents. Please vote for four more years, so that hopefully, with enough pressue and legislation, you can vote for me a third time."

Nah. Doesn't really work.

Well, I guess I'm a bit offended by his claim because I actually know a few very free-thinking libertarians (And since I'm probably voting Bush this November, I've been trying to weaken Kerry in their eyes) and this guy definitely doesn't strike me as being as intelligent or free-thinking as either of them.

No, you see, you aren't a Republican, you aren't a libertarian, so you are a Democrat. Not like that's bad all the time (See: JotW, EricMM, JMA, Tyler, Wildbomb), but in your case, it is.

I was getting a good chuckle out of the 'McCarthy was a good man' babble from her..

and the brilliant logic that I am seeing here - libertarian = liberal.

Ignore much? Then again, you seem to live in your own little world, so I figured you missed it... Wait! You live in your own little world! Is that what makes you a free-thinking libertarian?!

I've yet to see you exhibit anything remotely close to a libertarian philosophy here.

And isn't it ironic that you're all sensitive about people here making generalizations about you, when you label anyone here who follows a conservative ideology as a "Republican tool"?

Please. They've called him and his administration much worse than "scumbag."

Hell, I couldn't understand back when Burton said it what the big deal was.

I can hear Sean Hannity now lol

Since you brought him up I need to get this off my chest. Everytime I listen to his radio show I get more and more sick of him calling everyone on that show a "good friend."

My good friend Mark Levine.

My good friend Oliver North.

My good friend Lanny Davis.

My good friend Jim from Kansas.

Grrr...

Hmm...aren't you being "sophomoric"?

And because I DARE to think that Bush's commercial wasn't exploitive I was labled a Bush Partisan. Makes sense to me.

Hilarious. Just take a look at this topic where I posted an article about McCain-Feingold, you decided not even to ATTEMPT to read the article and praise the bill to the fucking skies. Then, when I attempted to explain it to you, you seemed vaguely uninterested.

I know you're a joke, you know you're a joke, everyone here knows you're a joke. Your posts are about as interesting, well thought out, and informative as a HHH speech (or failing that, a McAullife speech). I'm done trying to even bother responding to your posts until you bother to show even an ounce of intelligence or substance...duder. ;)

Actually, JMA seems more to me to fit the "free-thinking yadayada" profile than the "I'm a Rep/Dem who calls himself a Small-L libertarian in order to look impartial" types I usually see flinging the word around.

kkk:

Name Dropping is Hannity's version of "Kerry served."

I voted Nader in 2000, and No in the recall election. I think I am registered as a democrat but then again they were the first booth in the mall.
