New Match Likely For WrestleMania XX

 

If you love four way tag team matches, this is your show!

 

It is likely that WWE will add one more match to the WrestleMania XX card, that being a four way WWE Tag Team Titles match. The match should feature Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi defending against The World's Greatest Tag Team, The Basham Brothers, and APA.

I though this was inane that this is being reported on news sites as NEWS. I'm waiting for the news report which states that the cruiserweight open will feture (gasp!) cruiserweights.

Well, I like 1/2 those teams. As long as 2 Cool or APA don't walk out the champs, I'll be happy.

At least they seem to be putting some effort into getting as many workers on the card as possible. I guess thats commendable. Might not be the best matches ever, but neither were WMs 4, 5, 6, 7 when they fit 15 matches and many workers on the card either.

 

I wouldnt be suprised if they announced some sort of last minute over-the-top battle royal as well.

Good grief.

 

They should run a gimmick where they combine all eight teams into one match so I don't have to sit through two 4 way tags because the bookers couldn't think of an original storyline for tag teams leading up to Wrestlemania.

 

Hell, when's the last time tag teams have even had a storyline? Not since the E&C/Hardyz feud.

Booker T/Golddust. Which is pretty the last time I ever cared about the RAW tag titles.

It's a shame to think that WWE's tag division has one real good team in Haas/Benjamin, a reasonably solid team in the Bashams, and the rest are either crap teams who are stale (APA, Too Cool and the Dudleyz) or combinations of singles wrestlers who are lumped together because the creative dept is too lazy to come up with anything else for them. Seriously, is that all WWE can think of for RVD and Booker T? Yay, another odd couple team .

These tag matches are gonna be crap, but the majority of matches on the night are gonna make up for them, so I'm not that bothered.

Either do an eight man tag or have 2 Cool and APA take out the Bashams so we can just do a three way with WGTT, APA ad 2 Cool. Not a second 4 way.

Bah, two four way tag matches on card is overkill. As happy as I am about such a large number of talent making the show, there could have been better ways to do so.
