snuffbox 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2004 I think John Lennon once mentioned something about karma... Then why hasn't Michael Moore's arteries congealed shut? What harm has he caused anyone? Has he raided legal medical marijuana clinics? Assisted suicide clinics? Old people with small amounts of marijuana? Censorship? Patriot Act? I know you dont like how Moore has exposed alot of problems of Bush, obviously...but he hasnt used the power that was given to him to hurt any Americans. I wonder whom Lennon would have agreed with though...after Ashcroft had him either jailed, deported, or both.

Guest Cerebus Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Has he raided legal medical marijuana clinics? Assisted suicide clinics? Illegal. Censorship? Patriot Act? Debatable. But before you accuse me of being an Ashcroft Tool see here. I know you dont like how Moore has exposed alot of problems of Bush, obviously...but he hasnt used the power that was given to him to hurt any Americans. Wrong. I dont' like him because he's a lying sack of shit who not only helps drags down political debate to a glorified pissing contest but also calling him "liberal" or a "progressive" is an insult to intelligent liberals and real progressives. I wonder whom Lennon would have agreed with though...after Ashcroft had him either jailed, deported, or both. snuffbox 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Please point out ONE entertainer that the Ashcroft Patriot Goon Squad threw in the gallows. Thomas Chong I might have missed the "no bong" provision of the Patriot Act. Those are for tobacco... And the law is atrocious, America is fast becoming the ONLY civilized country in the world waging war against the marijuana plant. Its deplorable, but with tobacco and pharaceutical money channeling money into so many politico pockets it wont change anytime soon. Johnboy gets my heat for his GI Joe raids of old people's houses, schools, and clinics. Then again, Ive never been a big fan of the gestapo.

Guest BobbyWhioux Report post Posted March 6, 2004 It's wrong to wish death on Ascroft. He doesn't deserve to die. (He's caused too much suffering and done too much damage to get off with a quick and sudden death). Which is why I hope this illness incapacitate him for the rest of his term as Attorney General (which will hopefully, for Ashcroft's sake and ours, only be about 11 months) and thus spare us from his reactionary views and approach to his post. Once Bush is gone and Ashcroft has to go with him, I hope he has a sudden and "miraculous" recovery that reaffirms his faith in God. Such an illness and timely recovery would certainly bolster mine. Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2004 I consider myself a Christian, although the last denomination I went to was an Assemblies of God, the same as Ashcroft. It's wrong to cheer for the gallstone pancreaitis. Or to wish death on anybody. It doesn't happen that way. It's questionable to say "I hope God calls Ashcroft back to heaven" So.. yeah. I never engaged in any activities with crisco, or speaking in tongues
