EdwardKnoxII Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Is that if WWE did the right thing and booked Benoit/Brock for the title at WM Benoit could win the title and say that he beat beat so bad he ran him out of the WWE and that could have put Benoit over big time. And it would have been Benoit finally getting the belt.
Lord of The Curry Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 What you call "funny" I call "incredibly sad".
Mecha Mummy Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 What you call "funny" I call "incredibly sad". Ditto.
EdwardKnoxII Posted March 11, 2004 Author Report Posted March 11, 2004 What you call "funny" I call "incredibly sad". Oh believe me I find it real sad to. Just at this point you meant as well laugh at the way things going.

Damaramu Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Now Austin can say he beat them both so bad they high tailed it out of the company.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 Then he will pop wheelies on his ATV as Mae Young dances around doing a striptease. Stacy won't bring him a beer, so he will hunt her down and stun her. End RAW. Where's that picture of the wife beating grin when you need it?
Steviekick Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 What you call "funny" I call "incredibly sad". Ditto. I guess this quote is appropriate here, after all, it's a Kevin Sullivan one... "It's karma, brother..."
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 Nah, now it just makes sense for Benoit to not win the title from HHH and flee back to Smackdown where he won't have to face Brock. Someone said that and its obvious what will happen even if the original plan was for Benoit/HHH next month.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 When you consider the space time continuum, if Benoit had stayed on SmackDown!, anything could have happened - hell, Bill Goldberg could've become a real wrestler. But Ed, that is too brilliant a scenario for WWE. Let's get back to reality.
Blue Bacchus Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 I really don't think Lesnar jumping ship hoses Benoit's chance of winning gold sunday. It still makes sense that Benoit will go over Shawn at Mania and eventually face Trips down the road and drop the belt there. Lesnar leaving may hurt imediate plans for after Mania, but they can always push other talent. Like Big Show, Chavo, Orton (You knew this was happening anyway), or Kane. Call me crazy but both Benoit/Eddy are going over Sunday.
Mole Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 I see what Knox is saying, how it is funny that if Benoit fought Brock he would win the title no matter what. However, it is sad that the only reason Benoit would win is because Brock is leaving. If Benoit won the title just because Brock was leaving, he would loose it the next night at SD!
KTID Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 You know what's really funny about Brock leaving? That he sucks and no one gives a shit?
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 That he sucks and no one gives a shit? Hmmm... Is that why there's a 19-page thread about it?
humongous2002 Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 The sad thing is that Brock is leaving wrestling, maybe for a short time or forever and on his last match he is going to pass the torch to .....................AUSTIN???????????The ATV cripple.

OK, first of all - Brock Lesnar passing the torch to Steve Austin? What the fuck? And even if you want to call it that, that's not what's happening. And... "The ATV cripple"? Well, it should be interesting to see how he fares in the ring on Sunday. Blue Bacchus, Eddie Guerrero is, but Chris Benoit isn't, unfortunately. Next month.
