Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 So do I, and I've never even heard of, let alone met a girl named Brock...
Guest Nanks Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Melbourne just drafted a kid called Brock McLean, that's the only other place I've heard the name. Certainly never on a chick... well at least I'm not alone on this one
Kardo Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 My ex's name is Vaughn, I thought that was a kinda weird one for a girl. Never met anyone called Brock though... (Melbounre here).
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Of course I've heard of Brock as a male's name, but never as a female's. Well, 24's back on.
humongous2002 Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Never heard of Brock Shields??? Edit:Ooops, it's Brooke Shields.
BoboBrazil Posted March 22, 2004 Author Report Posted March 22, 2004 --Make of this what you wish. WWE has purchased the domain name newecw.com which at this point directs you to wwe.com. This pretty much says that they are strongly considering doing a Saturday night TV show using the ECW name. Dave Meltzer
humongous2002 Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 WWE should just leave ECW alone, this is going to be a waste of money and a waste of time. We all know that WWE will fuck this idea up just like they did with the WCW/ECW invasion and the XFL.
geniusMoment Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Why would they purchase newecw.com if they were not thinking of bringing ECW back. If they were just covering their bases they would just purchase ecw.com.
JoeDirt Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 If they bring back ECW only to turn it into WWE style hardcore with garbage gan lids and broomsticks, I'll puke.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Why would they purchase newecw.com if they were not thinking of bringing ECW back. If they were just covering their bases they would just purchase ecw.com. On that note...I checked both ecw.com and extremechampionshipwrestling.com ecw.com got me nothing. extremechampionshipwrestling.com got me a site that says it's coming soon. Don't know what that means.
geniusMoment Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Actually, the old site for all of us who used to like the pervert pics, remember those, was www.ecwwrestling.com
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I wonder whether the people-who-matter in Australia would decide to show ECW programming, more than likely on Cable TV...
ChrisMWaters Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Personally...I say they should make the old ECW feel this way: Replace Bottom Line and AfterBurn with ECW shows...if they do bring back ECW. For me, then ECW would be back on the same network that I first saw it on.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Hey, at least ECW would give guys that weren't Drafted something to do.
geniusMoment Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Actually, "All of the guys not drafted on Monday will be serviced by Terri Runnels, this was done in order to help repair damaged egos." -credit The Wrestling Observer

Anyways, I agree with an ECW relaunch. With the right roster, and Paul E. at the helm it would make wrestling a hell of a lot more interesting then it is right now. Plus it would be nice to see RVD, Rhyno and Dreamer used right again.
Guest nikowwf Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 if ECW comes back, i dont even want to hear ONE person complain that Joey Styles won't be there. There is NO chance of him coming back - he always asks for the rights to everything he does, and there is no way WWE can grant him that. just came to mind. niko
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I'll die a happy man if WWE gives in and lets Ultimo Dragon have ONE CW Title reign and drop it to Rey Mysterio in a great 15:00-20:00 match. so of course, it'll never happen.
Slickster Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 VanillaMidgets.com = Could not display page. Damn. That was a potential name for what would become The Smart Marks, actually. And we ALL know who came up with the winning suggestion..... *points to self*
NoCalMike Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 the "new ecw" better not just be WWE Hardcore Matches for 60 mins.
AndrewTS Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 Actually, "All of the guys not drafted on Monday will be serviced by Terri Runnels, this was done in order to help repair damaged egos." -credit The Wrestling Observer Whorrie's too busy with her business on the side...? the "new ecw" better not just be WWE Hardcore Matches for 60 mins. Get ready for another Sparky Plugg push.
Guest Brian Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 The only thing ECW would be good for is to build up mid-carders and give an outlet for developmental guys.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 The only thing ECW would be good for is to build up mid-carders and give an outlet for developmental guys. Yes, but it'll never be anything like the classic ECW. Nothing ever is.
2GOLD Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 Damn, Gail Kim looks hot as hell on her website.
AndrewTS Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I guess he had to be good at *something*.
Guest MikeSC Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 The only thing ECW would be good for is to build up mid-carders and give an outlet for developmental guys. Yes, but it'll never be anything like the classic ECW. Nothing ever is. I dunno --- matches with tons of dead time and poor psychology with exceptionally haphazard booking isn't that hard to do. Now, finding sheep gullible enough to call it great --- THAT is the challenge. -=Mike
JoeDirt Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 --The WWE did not purchase the NewEcw.com domain name, although the name does take you to wwe.com. It was purchased by Graham Briggs of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. (thanks to Carl Hancock) Credit: Meltzer
AndrewTS Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 "I dunno --- matches with tons of dead time and poor psychology with exceptionally haphazard booking isn't that hard to do." Well, then WWE's all set, aren't they?
