Terri, Sean O'Haire part ways with WWE

I hate to break-up the Sean O'Haire lovefest, but I gotta say I'm glad to see Terri gone.

Maybe now they'll quit making her a playable character in wrestling video games.

Has anyone ever played a game as Terri?

So, they have a guy who is 6"4, 270.......who can execute a Swanton perfectly and who has a very marketable look. Yet his less talented, less charismatic ex-partner Jindrak gets the push? Zuh?

Yep, let's cut him. Hey maybe I will catch him live in 3PW or something, that'd be sweet.

Big guys do not fly in WWE, especially now that Brock screwed up the SSP.

I did. It's freaky to see her put her hand into Big Show's chest and chokeslam him in No Mercy (or WM2000, whatever it was).

I was about to say something like that.

Wait....Terri has been a playable character? I never noticed since I don't use womens wrestlers.

O'Haire was a one-move kind of guy and once they took that away, it was all over.

I'm not so sure why everything depended on the Devil's Advocate gimmick. I loved the vignettes but once the bell rang, uf!

This doesn't surprise me and I'm not exactly accepting of it, but this doesn't excuse the fact that there are other guys that should be gone if they're trimming the fat (Heidenreich, Rosey, Gunn) and O'Haire's running buddy Mark Jindrak looks, acts, and is promoted as a blue chipper rookie despite being it being FOUR years ago that he was a WCW Nitro regular (although 2000-2001 WCW is akin to today's OVW), and the only reason I can think of for his supposed imminent push is because of WWE's latest trend to push underwear model types in order to bring in... 'certain' demographics.

Rosey should stay. He's over and he's a pretty good actor.

I detest his (and Hurricane's) gimmick. They're in Dudley Boys territory in that I just can't even give their matches a chance.

But I suppose it's down to personal preference though.

The latest being on RAW2. A game which came out last fall and did not include Haas, Benjamin, or Nunzio.

Ew...didn't the game also include Crash Holly, who was in TNA at the time of the games release. Damn WWE for not taking him out.

In a fourway for WM XIX, I was Big Show facing FGB and two other people. I started to pound him to shit, and then started toying with him, I hit something like five successive chokeslams, picked him up to hit a sixth, he blocked it and Jackhammered me for the win. I through my controller out the window.

Similar story: On WM XIX, I was doing Hogan vs. Brock (I was Hogan) and I just leg dropped the shit out of him like 6 or 7 straight times....for barely a two count. Then the bastard F5'ed me for the win about 20 seconds later.

God damn it, SOH had an awesome gimmick and they didn't have him run with the ball after Piper was gone. Just absolute horseshit. I'll best remember him for his tag team title reign with Chuck Palumbo in WCW, beating Rikishi at Backlash, and beating Ultimo Dragon on Velocity.

As for Terri, thank goodness. I couldn't stand her. What a horrible interviewer.

Edit: And just think AS in the next WM/whatever they're going to call it game for the Gamecube you'll be losing matches like that to Randy Orton. And I bet afterwords you'll shot your TV.

guess Dustin no longer has anyone to get him a job anymore.

Aside from the gimmick videos, the only thing I remember being especially good about O'Haire's run was what I believe was the first WCW match on Heat. Palumbo & O'Haire vs. Stasiak & Kanyon. It's been awhile since I've seen it, but I remember liking it at the time.

Too bad, because O'Haire was a guilty pleasure of mine.

I don't blame the WWE for this situation though, because I started noticing (through my small cache of WCW 2000 tapes) that his work in WCW never rose above ** (c'mon, a cool moveset doesn't make up for the lack of psychology or minimal charisma), and with his asshole attitude in the lockerroom, it was just a matter of time for this to happen.

Is Droz paralyzed from the neck or the waist? I don't even know why he'd be shaking somebody's hand if he can't feel it.

He regained feeling in his fingers a while ago.

In No Mercy I won the Women's Championship with her, that Running Push move of hers was my finisher of choice since her Grapple Finish was a Slap.

Another great performer in Sean O'Haire leaves the WWE after being misused. Good job, Vince.

April Fool's day was Thursday.

Oh yeah, you're one of those silly SOH marks.

SOH sucked, but a lot of the blame goes to WWE for teaching him a shitty ring style and giving him a gimmick he couldn't pull off.

...Whaa? I don't see how he blew the gimmick. They were the ones who pulled the plug on it before it even had a chance. He was good in WCW, then learned WWE style and that was the end of that.

Oh well. At least Orlando Jordan will be able to satisfy me every week on Velocity.

Umm, he was GOOD in WCW?

He couldn't throw a punch, kick, or clothesline to save his life. He couldn't do ANY move terribly well outside of a Swanton.

I love this whole "WWE shouldn't keep guys because they have 'the look' (the hosses), but they should keep THIS guy because he has 'the look' ".

Sean never developed. He never got better. He stayed in the same place, possibly becoming worse (his WWE work was terrible). You have to cut bait eventually and they did so.

If TNA wants to sign him and push him, feel free. It's not like the World Champ there is anything to write home about...

Yeah, but at least they left Hogan in. One of the first things I did when I started messing with the theme songs was change his music to "Real American".

Someone told me they had him coming out to "Be a Man" by Randy Savage.

The "abuse Terri" options do seem to justify having her in the game.

Since Golddust was already included, along with Nash, HBK, Taker, Triple H, Austin, and my CAW Bret Hart, you can relive 1996 to your heart's content on that game.

I think we all know why O'Haire was treated bad by the WWE. If the rumors were true he didn't shake Droz's hand when he got into the WWE locker room.

Yeah, but Palumbo was in on that deal too and WWE didn't seem to hold it against him at all. Of course, Chuck has actual talent and has done better with two significantly worse gimmicks than the one O'Haire got. But enjoy the conspiracy.

I'm an O'Haire fan, and I really don't see this as a bad thing. Hopefully, he can be another "WWE reject" who proves exactly how good he really is in NWA TNA.

As to Terri, why was she still there? There's enough nipples in WWE to cover for her quite nicely methinks.

Terri left because she wanted to, not because she was released. It was just reported on pwinsider.com. Maybe since her daughter is getting older she did not want her to see her mom viewed as nothing but a skank, or maybe she is upset she was not used enough, thereby not letting the world see all of her skankdom. Which one is it?

One more thing, skank.
