WM XX easily, but HHH has been having a string of good matches. HHH bringing back the work rate? Tune in to RAW TO FIND OUT~!

Um....that joke only worked with WCW, and SK is the only idiot I know who bothers to use it anymore.

But then, I'm not surprised.

You missed the joke I guess. I was mocking how SK did that in a lot of his old rants. Thanks for jumping to conclussions.

I've no clue as to why HHH/Shelton was even considered, but none the less - my vote goes to his match with Shawn on the final RAW of 2003.

That match was considered because it was so refreshing to see HHH put over someone like that. It was a pretty solid match as well, and one of the better matches I've seen in 2004 thus far.

While I believe the Triple Threat Match was Fantastic, Shawn/HHH 12/29 was more of a Triple H match, Because the triple Threat was all Benoit mostly.

The 12/29 match was a complete and refreshing surprise as Raw Main events rarely have World Title Matches to begin with but giving it 30 minutes with Shawn going all out and the old school NWA feel the match had was something truly special.

The other matches here?

Jericho/Trips-WMX8? Pretty good but the lack of heat really hurt it. ***1/4.

Jericho/Trips-HIAC? **3/4.

Shawn/Trips-SS02? ***1/2.

Elimination Chamber 1? **3/4

Booker T/Trips-WMXIX?,***

Elimination Chamber 2? (he wasn't even IN the match except for the last 2 minutes) **1/2.

Trips/Shawn-12/29? ****

Triple Threat-WMXX? ****1/2.

Trips/Benjamin-***.

What about his Raw match with Ric Flair? It was pretty good. I wouldn't vote for it over the HBK Raw match or the Wrestlemania XX, but it had a lot of emotion going into it...and they built it up well through out the show. Flair's promo that night was great.

HHH vs. Flair wasn't really a good match. It was just a typical Raw main event. All of the build up in the world can't save a mediocre match. If it could, Flair/Taker at WM 18 would be *****.

I voted for HHH/Micheals, which in my opinion, is the best of their recent matches. It actually focused on the wrestling, instead of foreign objects and massive blading. The cop out finish was acceptable because it set up the rematch.

While I liked the WM 20 triple threat more, that match was all Benoit. If anyone else was in his spot, no one would care about the match.

HHH/HBK last RAW of 2003.

For 20 minutes... the old HHH was back.

I still voted for WMXX, but his WM18 match with Jericho is vastly UNDERRATED. The crowd being deflated didn't help, but I recently found myself rewatching this match and it is a lot better than I remembered. It holds up well is all I'll say about that.

Id say Flair v HHH from Raw about a year ago personally. The match had a great build throughout the show, the crowd was hot and it had me on the edge of my seat with all the near falls

If I could go back and redo this thread, I would have included the Flair/HHH match over Elimination Chamber 2. Afterwards I remembered "Wait, he was in that match for a like a minute, and then hit Goldberg with the hammer for the win." I just remembered people liking that match, so it made the list... silly me.

The match is heavily overrated (Flair/Hunter). However, for a long-time Triple H & Ric Flair mark, like myself, it was golden from start to finish. To your average smark, though, it didn't really offer much.

I'd love for them to re-do that match again, as HHH is in work-a-holic mode right now and Flair is still God, carrying around his tag partner and making good matches out of him.

Wrestlemania 20. The best three-way I've seen. Such a great story, with Benoit and Michaels fighting to get the first shot at HHH. Such a great moment, Benoit winning the title. Loved it.

2004 Batista>2004 Flair

EDIT: Guess I should answer the question as well. I picked HBK RAW match. The only other match that comes close to it is the WMXX match.
