KanadianKrusty Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Ahmed has a match on the World Tour 1996 tape against Owen (semi-final I think) that isn't complete shit.... I think, I'd need to rewatch but I traded it.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Ahmed vs. Goldust - KOTR 96 Six Man Tag from International Incident LOD/Ahmed vs. Nation - WM XIII All pretty good matches.
Guest Astro Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Steve Lombardi (The Shawn MSG match?) Bastion Booger? (Shaw vs Owen perhaps?) I'd like to see Baron Von Rasche in a watchable match, all of his stuff i have is from the early to late 80's and his horrid
MillenniumMan831 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I always like Ahmed's KOTR Qualifying Match vs. Vader in 1996.
DCMaximo Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 On the video WWF Fan Favourites, there is a Hart Foundation vs Big Boss Man and Akeem match that I'd rate **3/4 stars, which is the best I've seen Akeem perform. Also, don't know if they'd be classified as terrible workers, but the Nasty Boys vs Cactus Jack and Maxx Payne is a legit ****1/2 affair.
SamoaRowe Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Goldberg ***1/4-DDP and ***1/2-Scott Steiner Whether Christ appeared to both in visions beforehand or there was some cosmic disturbance in the air, something clicked and made Steiner/Goldberg one awesome fucking match. Stiff as all hell and just a good, old fashioned, tough brawl. Great, great stuff. UYI Hehe, I enjoyed that match and I felt ashamed of myself.
WrestlingDeacon Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Ron Simmons and Butch Reed fused to be a pretty good tag team as Doom and they had some really good matches with the Steiners and the Four Horsemen. Simmons is actually a very good tag partner as far as the "power guy who cleans house" goes.
Guest MikeSC Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Iaukea had a pretty good match with La Parka on an edition of Worldwide during his Tv title run. Iaukea v Rey from SB during Iaukea's TV Title reign was pretty darned good. -=Mike
Guest Choken One Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 DOOM Vs Windham/Anderson was ****1/4.

Heck, I loved their match with the Rockers at WM 5. I thought it was one of the best-done big, fat guy v little guy matches. -=Mike ...I'd give it **1/2

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Bastion Booger a.k.a Makhan Singh (sp?) had some really good matches in Stampede, and was a very talented big man. Don't judge WWF's portrail of someone as the only way to decide.
Kardo Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Nastys also had a **** against Money Inc on the Wrestlefest 1993 tape.
HurriShane Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Prince Iaukea had a few good matches on Nitro against the likes of Jericho and Malenko. And I remember him having a pretty decent match against Chris Candido when he was in his TAFKAPI phase during the New Blood era of WCW
LoRisk Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 I think Bradshaw's best match was when he teamed with TAKA to face Kaientai at Over The Edge '98, but that could just be me.
Guest Astro Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Scary thought: Outback Jack vs N. Volkoff once Main Evented a WWF House show in Italy
Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Diesel vs. HBK-Good Friends Better Enemies: At least ****1/2. It was an awesome and entertaining brawl, which introduced hardcore wrestling to the mainstream audience....before the Summerslam Boiler Room Brawl.
Guest Astro Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Did 911 ever break * ? Hillbilly Jim? (I do enjoy the Hulk/Jim vs Bundy/Studd matches) Roadblock? Mantaur?
IWD Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 How about The Genius? The Bushwackers? Prince Nana?
Guest Astro Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Lanny Poffo/ Savage vs RnR Express Genius vs Hulk Hogan from SNME (Loved it in 89, love it now) Bushwakers (as Sheepherders) vs Fantastics Prince Nana is the indy worker who supposedly has African Tribal king roots right?
Mecha Mummy Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Prince Nana? I've heard that Nana had some good matches with Xavier in ECWA, but I haven't seen them.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Glacier and Mortis had some *** matches. I wouldn't call Leaping Lanny Poffo a bad worker by any means.
Mecha Mummy Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Erik Watts? He had a solid tag match with Jarrett vs. Chris Daniels/Joe E. Legend last summer when TNA was on a big hot streak. He even hit a decent dropkick variation.
deancoles Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Tatanka's best match was a 6 man tag match at Summerslam 93, it was Tatanka/Smoking Gunns vs Bam Bam Bigelow/Headshrinkers and it was very fast with hardly any slowdown. What would be Scott Norton's best match in America? my favourite is a match against the Cat where he chops him and there's a huge handprint left on the Cat's chest.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Some of his work in Vicious and Delicious was decent. The best Norton match I've seen is probably his match against Yuji Nagata at Big Wednesday for NJPW. Also the Bushwhackers were actually excellent hardcore brawlers before the WWF turned them into cartoon characters. Sheepherders vs. Steve Williams and Nikita Koloff from Clash III was a solid brawl.
deancoles Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 The best Horace Hogan match I've seen was a Raven/Horace vs. Kanyon/Saturn match on a Thunder during the Raven/Kanyon/Saturn 3 way feud.
