Why are Cade and Jindrak getting singles pushes?

Recommended Posts

Why is Garrison Cade getting a push on Raw and why is Mark Jindrak getting a push on Smackdown?

Is their horrible run as Raw's Most Boring Tag Team (No one can outbore the Basham's for most boring in WWE) being rewarded with individual pushes? Has either man had even a *decent* (**) match in either singles or tag team yet? Has either guy got any kind of significant reaction from the crowd...ever?

Are they being pushed for any other reason then Jindrak's size and look and Cade's connection to HBK?

They both got a good reaction when they mugged Orton for the $100,000. Which was a GREAT segment, cos it showed wrestlers ACTUALLY BEING SENSIBLE.

Of course, it all ended with Triple H and a 2x4 - but until then, I was loving it.

Wrestling-wise? Not that I recall.

Cade wears cowboy wrestling boots.

+1 in Banky's books.

I can't take Cade seriously with that Hair of his and the whole general "Gay" look that comes over him.

I say make him Le Resistance Bitch #3...just to give him a fucking character.

Because they want to try pushing young wrestlers?

Is there a reason they went straight to the guys with no positives?

So the next generic OVW wrestler they bring in doesn't look as bad.

they cut other ones WITH promise already.

Spanky quit, and I don't think Kanyon is young.

Because Orton had the MOTN at Backlash so this is your punishment.

getting placed in a feud with Tajiri is a push? You're making too much of this. Its obviously just something for Tajiri to do.

Jindrak, well...he was good in WCW and there's not much going on in the Smackdown roster. If they don't try something then its going to be Bradshaw for months as the major heel since Show needs surgery.

Isn't it obvious? They're young, have decent builds, and are homegrown WWE "stars." That's why they're getting pushed.

And Doug and Damaja would be much better if they weren't a team (or "brothers").

Because they want to try pushing young wrestlers?

Is there a reason they went straight to the guys with no positives?

What pisses me off is they have relatively young guys on the roster who still have some years left in their careers and they insist on pushing guys who simply aren't ready. Matt Hardy and Steven Richards deserve a push more than Garrison Cade or Jindrak. They have experience, are still considered young talents, they've established characters and personas for themselves with no help from creative and people respond to them.

I'm all for pushing young talent and I'm not saying that they should do nothing with Cade and Jindrak. My problem is they continue to force feed their audience people without giving them one reason to care about them. Why will anyone respond to someone who looks like Cade? What is he, a Dynamic Dude or Barry Windham? No gimmick, no personality, no character, he's shown no signs of charisma.

I guess they are trying with Jindrak and the Narcissist revival but he just doesn't seem like the right guy for that gimmick. He looks like a dork. Now O'haire, there was a guy who had the look.

They continuously waste their young guys by bringing them in too soon with no characters as vanilla "wrestlers". Had it not been for a Halloween party skit on Smackdown John Cena would probably be tagging on Velocity with Orlando.

I actually see potential in someone like Rob Conway and he's stuck in the French sympathizer thing with suckbag Grenier. People are concerned about Nick Dinsmore but at least he has a character, I just hope they let him work and eventually give the character some depth.

Matt Hardy is on the office's shitlist. Richards has a bad neck (that never stopped them from pushing X-Pac, but he was Klique).

At least Jindrak has a "look" to him, even if his talents aren't amazing. So that's why guys like Dupree and Jindrak are pushed on Smackdown as opposed to guys like Akio or Paul London.

Cade? Not really sure. They're really high on him, but he just has the look of a loser that got beat up a lot in elementary school. He's decent in the ring, but we'll have to see if he has any charisma whatsoever.

I can't reallymake an excuse for the Jindrak push, but Cade is a really good worker with a pretty good moveset. Just check out some of his Heat matches, they're always better than the 2-3 minute ones he has on RAW.

If it's just something for Tajiri to do, why do I get the feeling that Cade will be the one going over in any feud between the two? More like it's a way to get Cade on TV.

Jindrak doesn't really deserve a push because he has very little going for him - a good look and a great dropkick. His match with Spike was watchable though.

Cade, on the other hand, is one of the very few workers ever (and the only one currently) who actually make me turn the TV over if he's on. He has nothing going for him at all as far as I can tell.

Cade has had some solid matches on Heat. Not quite **, but still.

I think it's obvious why they're being pushed. They're muscular and over 250 pounds, which is Vince's prefence for pushes. God knows why, but it is.

His character is a retard, what kind of depth are you expecting? Is he going to become a schizophrenic retard? I understand your point, and it's valid: a worker needs some kind of personality/gimmick to get anywhere. I just don't see how Dinsmore's character could possibly go anywhere, beyond George Steel 2004.

To be honest, I think Conway's sympathizer thing does have a bit of potential. He could ditch Grenier and just do a play off of his current gimmick, and it could work. They originally said he was a veteran or former soldier, right? The character could actually have some kind of motivation and depth from that.
