EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Honorable mention to Kyle Korver. By no means the best, but a fun player regardless.
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Yah, I'd say Hoiberg is about as white as me and is worth nothing more than a 3-pointer once in a while when needed. Much like Stever Kerr was in Chicago for many years.
Steviekick Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Yah, I'd say Hoiberg is about as white as me and is worth nothing more than a 3-pointer once in a while when needed. Much like Stever Kerr was in Chicago for many years. Thats exactly how he was in San Antonio. Just come in, shoot a three, than sit down.
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 And he was one of the best at doing that as well. He shot San Antonio pretty much into the finals last season over the Mavs and hit the game winner for the Bulls over the Jazz in the 97 championship.
Guest Choken One Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 yeah i remember how ESPN made it out like Jordan made some huge sacrifice letting Kerr take the shot... dispite Kerr being pretty much perfect beyond the arc for the entire series...and with like 18 seconds left anyways
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Actually every news station in Chicago at the time made Jordans pass to him a big deal, mainly because it was just like when he made the pass to Paxson in the closing moments of the 91 Finals against the Lakers. But yah Kerr was definately a great clutch shooter and I'm glad he went out on a championship last season with the Spurs. He always seemed like a good guy who knew his role too.
the max Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I'm thinking of starting the best black NHL player. The problem is I only know 3 players in the league. Jarome Iginla Mike Grier Donald Brashear Peter Worrell Anson Carter ... ... That's all I can come up with off the top of my head.

Kevin Weekes Here's an even bigger rarity: How many of those blacks are American?
the max Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Weekes and BRATHEWAITE~! Forgot about the goalies...
razazteca Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Who was the Triple Double guy that cheated to get the last one, he played for the Atlanta Hawks.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Who was the Triple Double guy that cheated to get the last one, he played for the Atlanta Hawks. You're referring to Bob Sura, who's been around since 95-96, but just really hit his "original potential" at the end of this season, but personally for me... The people have spoken and the people demand... CHRIS MIHM~! The Secret of Mihm, baby!
Steviekick Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 No mention of Jason Williams. Jason has only become non-turnover prone.
razazteca Posted April 26, 2004 Report Posted April 26, 2004 All atheletes from University of Texas are overrated!
ant_7000 Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 No Wally S? Tim Duncan, oh yea I keep forgetting he's black.
HurriShane Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 What about the man the myth the legend Mark Madsen?
Just John Posted April 27, 2004 Author Report Posted April 27, 2004 Mark Madsen could win the WHITEST player in the NBA award. Gotta love his dancing, though.
razazteca Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Mark Madson is not even as good as Danny Ferry!
Steviekick Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 No Wally S? Tim Duncan, oh yea I keep forgetting he's black. Wally is still at the "pretty good" level.
Guest Choken One Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 The injury proneness hurts Wally from reaching that "best whitey" plateau...that and significant talent.
Steviekick Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 The injury proneness hurts Wally from reaching that "best whitey" plateau...that and significant talent. Definitely. But he's still not at AK47 level.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Kobe Bryant. You're so wrong. If Kobe was white, we all know he wouldn't be on trial... God Bless South Park
A Happy Medium Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 I'd also consider putting Toni Kukoc on this list too...along with Kirk Hinrich...who will be damned good next year.
Steviekick Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 I'd also consider putting Toni Kukoc on this list too...along with Kirk Hinrich...who will be damned good next year. It's to late in Kukoc's career and to late in Hinrich's to be included on this list.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Honorable mention to Kyle Korver. By no means the best, but a fun player regardless. I've been pimping Korver all year. Oh, and WHERES JIRI WELSCH BITCHES?!
ant_7000 Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Kirk Hinrich is solid, and he can DUNK and cross someone over. If I was choose a white dude that has game and is american, I would go with Brad Miller. Foreign Player would have to be AK 47 slighty over Peja because AK can play some defense.
