Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Sunday Night HEAT preview for April 25, 2004 Don’t miss HEAT this week as one of the hottest Superstars on the RAW roster is in action! Fresh off victories over Triple H and Ric Flair, Shelton Benjamin faces Rhyno. Can Benjamin keep the momentum going against the always tough Rhyno? Find out on HEAT. In other action, Rosey battles Rob Conway, while Steven Richards goes one on one with Lance Storm. Grandmaster Sexay will also be in singles action. HEAT will also take a look back at RAW when Chris Benoit teamed with Edge to battle Ric Flair & Batista for the World Tag Team Championship. Don’t miss what was a thrilling conclusion to RAW! All of this and more on HEAT at 7 p.m./6 CT on Spike TV. Doesn't look too bad, Benjamin/Rhyno and Storm/Richards should be decent and Rob Conway might be able to have a passable match with Rosey... Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Looks decent enough to watch this week. Now, if its Richards Vs. Storm, whose going to be the face? Aren't both of them heels now?
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Grandmaster Sexay will also be in singles action. Well, it wasn't a one shot deal then. Looks surprisingly decent for Heat. I'll have to try and watch it...on Wednesday, when it's shown over here.
Ultra Violence 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Looks decent enough to watch this week. Now, if its Richards Vs. Storm, whose going to be the face? Aren't both of them heels now? Lance is face as it is in Canada
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Oh yeah, forgot about that, thanks.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I don't know. I think that Richards is face because Victoria turned face. Of course, Storm will still be cheered because it's in Canada.... Ya'll remember when Storm came out and was attempting to cut a promo about how everything is BS before he got squashed by Rhyno? I think that was his heel turn.... The sad thing it, no one hardly watches Sunday Night Heat, let alone participates in the thread dedicated to it. That being said, the thread was started roughly four hours before the show starts. Must be a slow news day....
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I don't know. I think that Richards is face because Victoria turned face. But Stevie and Victoria haven't been together for a month or two now. They just mysteriously dropped their relationship when Victoria turned face.

Coach brought up the whole Victoria not being aorund him thing last time I watched, and Stevie was playing heel. Then again, allignment isn't that important to guys on Stevie's level, so it's hard to tell.
Garth 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I've already seen Heat over here in the UK, i found Storm vs Stevie to be a really enjoyable match, was given a good couple of minutes to work with, well worth watching just for this match. Better than most matchs you'll see on Raw IMO.
deancoles 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Even though the matches were good, the announcing team for International Heat was awful, Todd Grisham and Al Snow are terrible.
Silence 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Even though the matches were good, the announcing team for International Heat was awful, Todd Grisham and Al Snow are terrible. So Grisham's as bad as I thought he would be on commentary, then. Did he shill like JR (since he called JR the "Best play-by-play man in the business") or did he just sound like Michael Cole circa late 90's-2002/Mark Loyd/pre-heel Jonathan Coachman, etc.? Guest BillyTheStud Report post Posted April 25, 2004 He's definitely in the Mitchell Cole mold
DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 At first I thought, Todd Grisham was the Coach. Their styles are EXACTLY the same.
Guest JMA Report post Posted April 25, 2004 They really need to bring back the old Quebecer theme for La Res.

DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I love how Stevie doesn't even know who Grisham is.
DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 That's best pop poor Lance has gotten in like years.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 If they were smart, they would have used a show in Canada like this to help get Lance Storm over as a face or whatever.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 That springboard thing and the prolonged vertical suplex looked great.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I think Lance is getting just as good a reaction if not better than what Benoit got last Monday.

DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 This is propably been the best psychology I've ever seen in a Stevie Richards match. That's the most psychology i've seen in ANY WWE match.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 The announcing sucks balls. I would hardly call tonight Christopher's "Heat Debut." Would it kill them to pretend like the WWE fans have a memory. I find that Coach only works well when he's working with someone better than him. Which is not Al Snow.
Guest JMA Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Heat would be so much better without these damn recaps.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I think Lance is getting just as good a reaction if not better than what Benoit got last Monday. Ha! Good one. Like hell he is. He's getting a pretty good pop, but not of the level that Benoit did.
DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 I like Shelton's old theme song so much better.....
Guest sanyo Report post Posted April 26, 2004 WTF? Why the hell is Benjamin on Heat? He beats HHH twice and Flair on PPV and then given Rhyno on Heat. What is wrong with the WWE? Dumb Dumbs.
