And as an added bonus, the royalties go towards helping to keep Wrestlecrap.com alive.

A good read. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl...

I found it to be blah, personally. I read it in 2 days, and would give it a C, on a Wrasslin Book Scale

If anything, just read the chapter devoted entirely to Hogan's movies. Gold I tell ya, Gold!

It's pretty limp.

And he hates Hogan; we get it.

And he hates "bad gimmicks" that drew tons of money; who cares?

Disappointing.

I guess a lot of people considering his site is very popular among most "smart marks", even among wrestlers who have gimmicks he makes fun of.

I'll agree overall, the book is about half recycled stuff, but the other half is funny usually. I don't really like reading about 1997-on since the cartoon era was over by then.

Agreed. Long-time readers of the website won't find much new in the book. N00bs who don't know the dark, depressing, hilarious history of bad wrestling might find it interesting, however.

I read the book within days of purchasing it, which is something I rarely ever do even if the book is short.

It's great fun, and I'd say must-have for wrestling fans.

Nah, he loves them.

I bought the book a couple weeks ago, but I haven't got around to reading it with the end-of-semester crunch. I expect to read it after finals are done.

It's a pretty quick book to read. I think it took me maybe less than a day (I didn't read non-stop) to finish the first time. Most of the jokes stay humorous for second readings though.

That's true, when I'm bored I'll sometimes skim through the book, just for chuckles. It's a worthy purchase by all means and I can't wait for the upcoming WCW book R.D. is planning.

Not that I'm a literary master or anything, but his writing style on the webpage leaves a lot to be desired. There's always typos and poorly constructed sentences. My presumption is that the typos would be corrected in editing, but is the writing style the same choppy style that he uses online?

That's the beauty of the internet! Anyone can be "published" despite a lack of talent, spelling ability, or interest! Three cheers!
