Ripper Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 I can't believe you fucked up your holograms. I would have thrown a shit fit if I did that Actually, I liked playing with my Battle Beasts even more after the great "whitewash." Instead of having pre-determined armies, I was able to take all the animals I liked and make them one group and all the other ones into another group. I was able to then have an army with my fish monster (he was previously a "water" rep.) my giraffe monster (he was "earth") and my croc monster (fire) fighting on the same side against the lame monsters, like the Buffalo one. Yes, I am a Buffalo-ist... Dude, you just made me have a flashback. I loved those fucking toys. That and Visionaries that had much bigger holograms and a kick ass tv show with kick ass poems that they had to say to make the hologram come out. Yep...I knew them shits by heart. *feels old*
Guest Eyeball Kid Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Alice in Chains Chick Her skeletal remains can currently be found in DJ Jeff's backyard.
dubq Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 I'd get along with just about everyone here except the majority of the WWE folder. I'd want to kick their asses after a couple of seconds probably. Have you forgotten that BBCW and -iB- post there? Surely you don't want to kick their asses. Meet me and try and kick my ass. Despite being immature, I'm a pretty fucking strong person. Oh man, and this is why the internet never fails to get a laugh out of me.

Yep...I knew them shits by heart. *feels old* I don't remember the Visionaries, but then again I was very selective with my toys. What I used to love (not sure if it's done anymore) were those commercials for action figures that were like stories. One commercial would be the "start" of it, followed future months by other commercials that are part of the story. I remember one lame set of toys that were called "Insect-oids" or something like that. Basically they were bug people and each person came with their own little bug that did something -- my favorite was some bad character that had a bug that squireted water through its nose. Anyway, there was this saga of the good guys v. the bad guys that went on for months. Many times these commercials were better than the actual show I was watching. Will the good guy get away from being surrounded by three baddies? Tune in and find out...
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 I've been fascinated with the girl on the right in Rip's sig for about 2 minutes now.

Visionaries were like big GI-Joes with KICK ass little hologram plates on their chest(like a bird or some shit) and they would have this big staff with another big hologram thing on it, and they were like Wizards or Genies, or the bad guys had demons and dragons. They kicked so much ass. *goes to ebay to find some*

Oh, I remember them now. I didn't play much with those. My figure collection included Star Wars and MUSCLE men (this was before they became all kinds of hippie colors). Even though I had a decent amount of Battle Beasts (probably around 30) they weren't my "main" toy. My neighborhood was actually pretty good when it came to toys. Most of the kids on my block collected different kinds of figures, so when we would "combine forces" we always had a good variety. (Example: I had Star Wars figures, this other kid would have He-Man, this other kid had GI Joe, another kid had Transformers, etc.) It also made sorting out whose toys belonged to whom at the end of the day that much more easier...

Ted the Poster Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 I'm partial to the left myself... Good thing you didn't use that in the CE folder. I can see myself getting along well with CWM, IDRM, Crandamaniac and Kotz.

Hoff Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 I can't believe I missed a warm, fuzzy thread like this. I'd love to meet a lot of people on here. Not that I'd go out of my way to do it, but most of you seem decent enough. If anyone's ever coming through Minnesota, drop me a line, seriously. *loves this thread* Also, does anyone remember that one time on an awards show (I think it was the Grammys) that Toni Braxton had that dress on and she sang "Unbreak My Heart," and ripped half of it off in the middle? That was great. Yeah. EDIT: I like Zack's answer of "you know who you are." No need to name names, but obviously, we're all closer to some people than others.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Why in the hell did I think Hoff was Canadian? I was positive of that, too. Weird.
